I’ve used this product for decades, the shades are great, mine last for ages. And I apply mine after moisturising and under eye concealer, it goes on smoothly and feels light on my skin, and doesn’t look caked on especially around fine lines and wrinkles Highly recommend

I’ve always used this powder for a number of years because it’s effective, and light for a powder. I would say it’s medium coverage, but the best you will get with a powder. I like its compact mirror and sponge which is very helpful. Easy to slip in your handbag and dab your face up when it’s looking abit shiny. I think it’s good value for money, and the quality of the foundation powder is good. Don’t sleep with it on though because it gives you spots 😂 and don’t slap it on, otherwise it cakes up. It’s literally just a light powder you can top up on liquid, or wear for a daily basis.

The only problem with Max Factor is the colour range, even the lightest is quite dark. I would say I was average pale and the lightest is my summer bit of colour powder, a bit dark for winter but quality powder anyway.

Great coverage and long lasting. I apply over a light moisturiser as no need for foundation too. Even and natural coverage and I often get compliments about my complexion which isn't naturally that great, it's down to this. Also recommended to my daughter who has serious acne issue and she loves it as light as non claggy. She can also use it without foundation reducing irritation and added oils. Such a great price compared to the shops. Quick delivery too.

I’ve bought this powder foundation every couple of months ever since it was launched in 2000/2001. It was the first foundation I’d ever used and - up until recently - the only one. However, the new “vegan” formulation is utterly appalling. It is chalky, doesn’t spread onto the skin properly, looks far too dry / patchy and is also much too dark. Porcelain is now orange and is completely unwearable. I’m devastated that a product I have used for so long has been so thoroughly ruined. Even the sponge provided in the new version is a cheaper, much less efficient imitation of the previous one. There were lots of similar reviews on the Max Factor website until recently but these have mysteriously disappeared… I am writing this to warn others who are used to the excellent old version. When ordering from Amazon, I initially received the original, hugely popular version - presumably while old stock was used up - but recently, the new “vegan” version is being sent. You can spot the awful new version as it has “vegan” on the front and has a refillable powder compact. Having a refillable version is a great idea but there was no need to ruin the formula and swap to a cheaper sponge at the same time! I can only hope that Max Factor will notice the drop in sales (and listen to the feedback of loyal customers of over 20 years…) and return to the previous formulation. Until there is a return to the previous brilliant product, I will be sticking to an alternative foundation. I don’t want to waste any more money on this inferior version.

Extremely highly recommended, have been using this for years. Always getting complements on my skin and I give a lot of credit to this product. I never use foundation, this is enough coverage without any faff. Gives a medium ish coverage, almost 0% chance of messing up application, so easy, I often apply on the go, just swipe on and done, mirror and sponge applicator included. Touch up/re apply during the day with ease, as needed. Removes just as easily. Makes a great base if applied before lippy and eyeliner, I find it helps prevent most things budging until I want them to. Can use very little or build up for more coverage. I have very pale skin and use their lightest shade 001 porcelain. I also have very sensitive skin and have had no problems with this ever. One compact can last about a month with frequent daily use, or much longer if used more sparingly. I’ve tried numerous different brands, both cheap and high end, but this is definitely always been the winner for me. Quick, easy, looks great, lasts well. Perfect.

Sie bietet eine mittlere bis hohe Deckkraft mit mattem Finish und eignet sich gut für unterwegs oder schnelle Auffrischungen. Mit SPF 20 schützt sie zusätzlich vor Sonne und fühlt sich leicht auf der Haut an. Die Anwendung gelingt gut mit dem beiliegenden Schwämmchen für ein gleichmäßiges Ergebnis. Einige Nutzer bemerken, dass sich die Textur und Farbtöne nach einer Reformulierung verändert haben, was manche als weniger angenehm empfinden. Für alle, die ein mattes Finish mit Sonnenschutz suchen, ist sie trotzdem eine solide Option, allerdings sollte man vorher prüfen, ob die aktuellen Farbtöne passen.
