I'm pleased I paid a little more for this magnifying glass rather than buy one of the many cheaper plastic offerings available. Every part of this magnifying glass is metal and the lens is glass. The weight of the item indicates the quality and the metal (solid copper I believe) is finished in an attractive gold plate. The 67mm diameter lens is ground from good quality optical glass which gives a crystal clear image and a good magnification of approximately x3 or x4. This magnifying glass also seemed to be the only one I saw to be supplied with a protective pouch and a box. The pouch is made from soft, tan faux leather and everything arrived in an attractive presentation box which is useful if purchased as a gift. I recommend this magnifying glass as probably the best of the large selection I perused. I'm very pleased and I can't fault the quality of the product or the performance of the lens. The quality is worth paying the few extra pounds for and it should last for many years.

Not perfect optics, but very nicely presented and does the job. I'm still looking into it!

I bought this for my parents. It arrived the next day and is a great looking product, well made, lightweight and looks good. It also has a handy storage pouch. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a good magnifying glass with a real handle. I bought a gift for one of my neighbors. She is old and struggling with her eyesight, so I want a good gift, but there are some practical things that will hook all boxes. It is also in a beautiful gift box.

Great small magnifying glass. Good handbag size. Seems good quality with a nice weight to it and very clear magnification. Comes with a nice pouch to keep it in. Would recommend if you're looking for something quite small to use occaisionally.

This is good value for money. Nicely made and solid to handle, including a lovely case. It also comes in a box which makes it a very acceptable gift.

Range is too narrow; smaller mag would have been better.
