A must have tool for every liquid or mousse foundation user
If you use liquid foundation then these silicone "sponges" should be considered mandatory equipment. First of all they have zero absorbance so you will use far less makeup per application. Considerably less. I am surprised at how much product I was losing because other methods of application were stealing my foundation through absorbance.Second, silicone sponges make it easy to get an even and smooth application. This of course means your makeup, and by extension you, look fabulous! The smooth texture of the sponge leaves nothing but a professional quality look to your foundation. You will probably have to change your technique a little when applying your foundation but it's for the better. I have found my time to put on my makeup is shorter because I don't spend as much time to get my foundation done. Finally, because the silicone sponge is so easy to clean and doesn't retain any residual product you can change shades or brands without concern that you will have residue from the previously used products on your application tool be a problem. I use liquid foundation or Maybelline mousse foundation depending on my makeup needs or look I am trying to achieve at that time. Before I had a silicone sponge I had separate sponges for the different foundations. More to keep up with and a greater chance of making a mess. The silicone sponge means I don't need as much potential clutter and my makeup bag is far less messy.I consider these silicone sponges required tools in my makeup arsenal. If they were telephones they would be smart phones and all other types of foundation tools are rotary dial landlines. Do yourself a favor if you use a wet form of foundation like liquid or mousse and get a couple of these silicone sponges immediately. Your future self of two days from now will thank you when they arrive and you try them out.

No wasted makeup
This doesn't absorb any makeup, which is great because I can use about half as much to get the same results. I always put moisturizer under foundation so for me it glides easily. You do have to be careful not to get too much makeup on it or you'll get weird streaks and it's really hard to get excess off. Really all it takes is a bit of a learning curve to get it right and it's well worth it for the fact that I can wash and start fresh every day.

Expensive
I dont think that its worth $11 but I got it on sale so I tried it. I am tired of all my makeup getting wasted by sponges and this is the answer to that problem. It's amazing how little makeup I have to use now with this. It's sooo super soft that I could just play with it for hours! But you don't want to do that since if you rip the plastic on it it's worthless. So be gentle with it and it will last a long time and you can get rid of all your wasteful sponges.

Where has this been all my life???
I am in love! I cant believe I haven't found this product until now. I try to live very sustainably and this is a perfect solution for those looking to switch too. I am terrible at cleaning my products like i should so i cant even imagine the gross bacteria that was in my makeup sponges. I was breaking out recently too and im thinking it was due to the yucky gross bacteria in my sponges. this is seriously perfect! I used WAY less liquid foundation/concealer and it blended beautifully. It obviously didn't absorb any like a sponge would. Better for you, better for the environment. GET IT!

Decent
It is soft, but im nervous i might accidently rip it a little while handling it. Definitely a clean non absorbent alternative to a sponge. A lil foundation really does last. However since there's no absorbency, some spots the foundation gets caked on, and the blender doesn't really cover the pores.
