Mining GPU to Gaming GPU
Purchased a mining series GPU for about 1/3 the cost of the gaming version. It didn’t have any display outputs so I connected this to my motherboard and it works like a normal graphics card now. Compact and easy to use, just need to install the driver. Picture quality is comparable to being connected to a normal GPU, and I haven’t noticed any significant lag. High quality adapter.

Great buy, disconnect when done
Been using this for both my Samsung personal laptop and work Surface to hook up a monitor at home. It's great, no issues, but it does get a bit warm. I noticed that when I left it plugged in overnight but wasn't using my laptop. I had just put it to sleep. Like any electronic item you can, it's a good idea to unplug from the power source when done. Great buy.

Works great, once the driver is installed
As the title says, once I was able to install the driver, it's working perfectly to hook a second external monitor up to my older laptop that only has 1 HDMI port, and no USB C ports. The driver does come with the adapter, but it's on CD! The good news is you can also download it from the manufacturer's website. I had to get our IT Dept. involved to download the driver onto my work computer, but once I had the right permissions, it installed very easily and is working beautifully.

My absolute savior for setting up dual monitors!!!!
I have been through the ringer trying to find a setup that allowed my laptop to detect 2 monitors!!! I tried several different cheap & expensive docking stations & even attempted an HDMI to S-Port, with no luck.I desperately needed to setup dual monitors for work because I was tired of only having..... I have so many tabs, browsers, documents, folders, etc. opened up at once, during working hours, that one monitor was not cutting it for me anymore. Plus, I like to keep YouTube playing in the background (I work from home) & occasionally I will look at the video playing to take a break..... which would mean reorganizing my desktop to view it while still working lolI asked one of my clients what they were using for their triple-monitor setup & he recommended USB-A to HDMI adapters. I work in tech & I still overlooked the most used port on a PC as an option to try myself lolNow I have dual monitors setup & connected to an awesome dual monitor mount that grips to your desk..... perfect for moving my monitors around or flipping one vertically for portrait mode.Thanks to this product, I now have a more organized PC setup for work!!!

Does NOT work on Windows 11 Copilot+ with Snapdragon processors
The device is recognized, but the monitor is never recognized. My advice: if you want more that 2 monitors on a laptop, avoid a snapdragon based laptop.
