Intel® Core™ i7-14700K Desktop Processor 20 cores (8 P-cores + 12 E-cores) up to 5.6 GHz

Brought this to replace my i7 12700k and it works perfect and almost twice as fast as my old CPU. I am running it on my ASUS z790-h Motherboard with no problems. I can now even run my 4 sticks of ddr5 and overclocked with no problems at all. Unlike the 12700k it didn't like 4 sticks much.I love this CPU and it was a bargain.

Excellent performance from the CPU, easy to overclock as well using intel XTU. Just make sure you have a good cooler for it, I'd recommend the Arctic Liquid Cooler iii, 360mm cooler. Running a stable overclock at 6 all cores & it barely goes above 70 degrees when under full load, and 42-48 degrees under a normal load.

Runs amazing for gaming / workstation use if you know how to tune your system properly and pair it with good fast ram. If all you do is game and dont know how to tune just buy 9800x3d.

No problem with the seller but Unfortunately I seemed to get one of the bad ones which has now got permanent damage to it as it just BSOD my pc whenever I try to game with it. So at first it was great Performance but soon started having one problem after another , constantly having to reload windows thinking it was some fault with corrupted code then we find out that there is a faulty batch of CPU's from intel.Stuck with it for almost a year hoping the bios updates and all the fixes and tweaks to settings that intel told us to do would make it work but got worse over the time now it needs to be returned for a replacement one as it wouldn't let me play the games I built the pc to play, had enough and brought a new 13th gen cpu to replace it and guess what ! its so much better already .

Easy to install with a contact frame speed is very good I use a AIO with mine keeps temps under control does draw a lot of power even when setting it to intel default limits I have seen over 280 watts only for a few seconds but it does use a lot of power so a good psu is recommended and a very good cooler too is also required I have had it hit temps of 89c on a all core workload for gaming you won’t see these temps the hottest it has gotten play cyberpunk 2077 is around 65c max just idling watch videos on YouTube it runs around 30 to 40c so as long as you pair it with a good cooler you are good intel have released the new processors I have had this but they only reduce power usage and no real performance gains yet so I would still buy this when it is on sale

I just built a new gaming PC. MSI MAG Tomahawk motherboard, I9 14900k CPU, MSI Coreliquid S280 AIO, MSI 4090 Gaming X Trio, 2x WD Black SN850x SSDs, 64GB Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 RAM. It is a beast of a machine.CPU has never gone over 75c even playing games @ 4k, idle it sits around 40c. Gaming/rendering/photo and vidoe manipulation is effortless and super fast.

A good cpu but you need to pair it with a decent waterloop or aio for maximum benefits. Aircooling does work but it will suffer from transient heat spikes.

Incredibly powerful but if you don't have a aio with 400mm radiator wouldn't bother unless you wanna spend hours undervolting voltage and getting it stable. Gets so hot but very capable of everything you throw at it.
