Holds a charge a good long time!

I have several Makita power tools and therefore often need to charge batteries and swap between tools. I wanted an option to charge two batteries at the same time, and this charger came with a small capacity battery. Both charger and battery seem to be fully compatible with my tools and OEM batteries. While the chargers looks almost identical to the Makita, it is clearly not as well made and heavy. Especially the cooling fan is barely audible in this one, compared to the fan in the original charger. But it seems to work just fine and charges batteries at about the same speed. We will have to see how long everything lasts, but given that this costs about half of what the real thing would run you, I am willing to make some concessions.

I’ve been using this battery pack and charger for a while with my Makita tools. As far as performance compared to the original manufacturer batteries goes, there isn’t much difference. The charger works great, and the battery life is on par with my two actual Makita batteries. Both my tools are 18V but I like the fact that the charger works with a whole range of batteries from 14.4v to 18v. I’ve been using if for several months now and have had no drop-off in battery power or life. Works great for me, and way cheaper than OEM batteries.

Very Good Battery And RC Charger ComboThis combo of an 18V-3.5Ah battery and rapid charger (RC) really shore up my Makita tools and batteries. This RC charger is well made, works very well and does what it promises. I have charged four 18V Li-ion Makita batteries with it and I am happy with its operation. When fully charged most 18V batteries are actually over 20V (at least for the newer batteries that I have tested) and I get this result with this charger. Since I already have another Makita RC charger, I can now charge two batteries at the same time.Here is the review ranking basis that I have adopted:⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.
