Hello, World! My Body

My little 18 month old loves flipping through these books. She’s learned so much and we will still get to enjoy them once she starts to read. I’ve got 16 of the other books. Main selling point on these hard backs is kids are easily able to turn the pages.

I received this book today and was impressed by how much information was included in a board book, it goes over the body from head to toe while pointing out how eyes, ears nose, legs and so on works. Like “sniff sniff your nose smells the scents around you” In smaller print is given details like “your arm is made of three long bones, one between your shoulder and elbow and two between your elbow and wrist”. The focus of the book is, however, kept at what a toddler would be able to see when looking at themselves and others, organs, muscles and skeleton is not depicted. I think this is an appropriate level for a board book and provides lots of vocabulary for a toddler learning to name body parts. The colours and graphics of the book is nice and bright and engaging, I think I will read this book many times with my daughters.

The pictures are cute. The words to pictures ratio is perfect for little ones. Overall I'm pretty pleased with the stoey itself. I removed a star because the binding and quality of the book is just not what I was hoping. It just doesn't seem like it will hold together very long. I foresee lots of tape in my future.

Staple in our diaper bag. He loves the colors and the game we play when learning different body parts. Cute book!

My 2 year old has loved all of the Hello World! books. They are educational with great illustrations to captivate my son’s attention. They are the perfect size for him and they are sturdy! I recommend any books in this series!

Nice book and very helpful for our kid

Hey mammas, I got this book for my child because we’re currently learning body parts, I’m really happy with it. What I love is that it doesn’t just talk about the five senses it actually teaches many different parts of the body in a very simple and easy way for kids to understand. It’s super clear, very beginner-friendly, and makes learning fun. My child enjoys it, and it’s been really helpful for practicing vocabulary and understanding how the body works. I personally feel this book is perfect for younger kids who are just starting to learn, especially toddlers. I hope this helps!
