Does this watch glow in the dark?

No it doesn't glow in the dark. It's a beautifully made watch and really stands out. Unfortunately it was a packet of trouble right from the get go, continually losing time and stopping altogether, I've decided to get it repaired as I like it so much.

What size of battery does it take? And do all the railway models take the same battery size?

Mondaine railway watches take Renata 373 (SR916SW) silver 1.55v batteries. As far as I am aware, the same battery is used for the whole series of railway watches.

Is this a mechanical watch?

Both versions are available but mine is electronic. It is both reliable and accurate. I also have a much more expensive mechanical watch but wear this one for preference.
