Q: I’ve been trying to curl the wig and the curls won’t take. What should I do?

Because most lace fronts are plastic you have to curl them in a way that affects them in a way that essentially melts and dries the hair to the shape you want it. As harsh as that sounds there are many ways to achieve this that won't harm the wig itself. The easiest of these is to put the wig onto curlers, and then use a fabric steamer to heat the wig while the curlers are on. After 5-10 minutes you can let it dry. To really lock in the girls get a large plastic bag and put it over the wig head while you're steaming it so that the steam is trapped in the bag and and then after the entire wig is wet with steam and heated up (again usually 5-10 minutes depending on how much hair is being curled) you leave the bag on it for a couple hours and then take the bag off and let it dry. Don't uncurl it until the entire head is dry though otherwise it won't take. Once the wig has dried and is cool to the touch you can take the curlers out and style it as you like. Hope that helps!
