Great quality sling
The metal tip is a hair greater than 1.25". To thread it through a 1.25" sling swivel, bend the webbing over 45 degrees and pass it through the swivel.

Excellent (OEM) sling
American made, great USGI replica sling that is practical for a disciplined rifleman. Takes a little bit of use to get worn in - comes stiff but it’s canvas material so is what you want in the long run. The nylon ones are too flexible and don’t hold up over the long term in my experience. Go OEM, seller knows his stuff.

These old school slings look great on my Garands. The OD green ties in well with the wood stock.

Perfect sling for my XM3 inspired rifle.
Well made. Sturdy. Excellent stitching. Period correct hardware. I put this on an XM3 inspired .308. Comfortable to shoulder and simply looks pretty bad azz. 😎
