Be careful around pets, you might accidentally blow them away.
Can't believe the power this thing has. Don't even have to use boost for normal blowing of grass. It will blow dirt at full boost. Our chihuahua was found in neighboring town after I accidentally blew him away.

Carb adjustment needle vibrates out of adjustment each time
This Poulan PLB26 leaf blower is a disappointment. It does not start real easy like other Poulan products I own and after I had used it 2 times, and finally got it started again, it would not accelerate when I squeezed the trigger but instead tried to die on me. I tried nursing the trigger but still it would not accelerate. And, a pet peeve of mine, the carbrurator adjustment screw does not have a screwdriver slot in it. The mfg does this on purpose so that we consumers have to take it to a shop and spend $25 to $50 to have that screw turned a half turn. I found an electric wire connector that fit over the screw tight enough to turn it and adjust it. It only needed a half turn and the blower ran fine. But after using it for 30 minutes it started choking down again so the screw must be loose and vibrating out of adjustment each time it is used. Not good. I took the screw all the way out and used a hack saw to cut a slot in it so that a screwdriver can be used. I will have to try to use some kind of sealer so it won't vibrate out of adjustment each time. But at least it will now be easier to adjust.

It did work great the three times I was able to get it ...
Have been using the same electric blower for over 20 years but finally got tired of dragging an extension cord all over creation. Purchased this unit about 2 weeks ago and have used 3 times. From day one it has been difficult to start but today it will not run. It will start right up in full choke but switch to half choke and it dies. Have let it sit several times to see if it was flooded but same thing. Finished up my yard work with the electric blower. Also when trying to register warranty for this blower serial number on box was not valid. On Poulan website found a person to chat with, not live but they do email back. All they do is send me to a link that shows where serial number is but this unit does not have a serial number where they claim it should be located. So now I have a blower that doesn't work and I assume it won't be under warranty because I was never able to register. Do not buy this product. It did work great the three times I was able to get it started.

Be careful with this one!
I had purchased a much larger Poulan blower earlier from a local store. It worked about 3-4 times then would not start. I took it to several repair shops and was told to pitch it and buy something else as it would cost more to fix it than it was worth. So, I thought I would try a smaller Poulan and see it worked better. Sadly, I am disappointed yet again. Yup have to have a ton of patience and lots of muscle as this one is just about impossible to start. And, once started, it takes quite a while to warm up so you can apply full throttle. I would not recommend this product (Poulan) as I now have two and neither one is worth much!

Buy this !!!
Another item that took me awhile to buy due to people leaving some bad reviews needlessly. I love it !!!Who is this for and who would love to have it without pulling electric cords all around the yard ?This is for people who are use to doing the yard work weekly , someone who hates pulling cords around the entire yard , likes cutting their work time in half. This is not for elderly people ,it's got some weight to it as with any gas powered tool. not for people who do commercial lawn cutting work everyday all day long. If your not used to lawn work, buy yourself a battery powered rechargable one with 2 batteries , it's smaller. It use to take me about 35 minutes to blow off the driveway and cleanup leaves and grass clippings with the electric one ,now it takes me 15 minutes start to finish. Really worth it , it started on the 2nd pull.Remember to read the directions first.

Poulan PLB26 Leaf Blower Honest 4 Star Review
I purchased this leaf blower a while ago and it has worked really well. There are a couple problems with it though. First it is tough starting. They suggest 10 pumps on the fuel button I suggest a couple more.. Also I ran this during break in on a heavier oil mixture. More oil will effect power and starting but it is safer for the first 10 or so hours of use. The second problem other than starting is the inlet for the blower often sucks on to my pants especially shorts which are looser. I end up having to change hands or hold it way out in front of me which is awkward because its slightly heavy. It is a large unit. Poulan is made by Husqvarna its a good unit but doesn't have all of the best features on the more expensive models. If you have a hard time starting it check your fuel mixture, check the pumps of primer bulb and adjust your choke to the center. After its warm it will start quicker. It was the best and cheapest option and its a good unit. Mine was reman and it was excellent. So don't be scared of remanufactured ones.

Lots of power - for the price!
I have a lot of leaves that fall in my yard and I was previously using an electric blower, to supplement the days between when my landscapers come. I decided to upgrade to a gas blower, but I wanted something light weight. This is not the easiest to start (thus, the 4-star rating) but once started, it works great and has a lot of power, for the price that I paid ($79.99). If the manufacturer develops a gas blower with a push-button electric start, at a reasonable price, I will gladly upgrade again!

Trouble starting
(light use around small residential property)The first month, it took two runs through the starting procedure to get it to catch. Now, in the fourth month, it's taking three. I may not even HAVE a blower by the fall leaf drop. Also, the intake is located on the side where it constantly grabs at your clothes and sucks them in. Right-handed users have to hold it out from themselves awkwardly to prevent this and it gets very tiring, very quickly. The extra power and variable speed throttle are nice but they're useless in a blower you can't start.Should have stuck with Weed Eater FB25, it starts first time, every time.
