Cool little amp
Portable but sturdy and well-made. Sounds great with a real character all of its own. Not fantastic for clean sounds but brilliant for old school blues tones. The other thing worth mentioning is that it brings out the sound of your guitar. Somehow my strat sounds more ‘stratty’ through this. Love it and would highly recommend.

For fun and serious use at the same time!
Why you don’t see more of these being used I have no idea. Superb sound, from sweet and clean to full growl. Well loud! So easy to use and a pleasure to listen to. The only thing I don’t like is the heavy plastic sleeve over the speaker wires ... This makes the wires bend at the same point so I would worry about early breakage of those wires if you were to regularly open/close the cabinet. Because the amp uses an output transformer a broken speaker wire will load the output stage too far and kill it (same as for a valve amp). I will remove the sleeve to ease the wire stress at the bend point to allow all of the wires’ lengths to be more mobile. Other than that very happy. Good build quality, robust design. Get one!

A classic amp
The Mighty Pignose! This is a really basic practice or busking amp with a classic Hog sound - not unlike a Harley-Davidson exhaust, to me! One guitar (or harmonica mike) input, one volume control, one output for sending the sound to another amp or recording board. And it's loud - whether running off batteries or mains.Sturdily built, and packaged in a glossy cardboard box with plenty of protection against bumps during transit. It get 4 stars, only because the output channel doesn't mute the speaker, which could be handy in some situations.Otherwise - it's a classic, well worth adding to your amp arsenal.

THE all time great travel amp
One of my favourite all time amps. The little pig nose is a beast considering it's the size of a lunchbox. Sounds awesome, nice fuzzy rock sounds and some quiet but chimey clean tones - especially on single coils. Another plus is that it handles all manner of pedals superbly for a small amo and speaker, taking high gain, compression and reverb no problem. I have a small pedal board just for this amp now. The batteries last ages too!

Pignose
I had some issues with my legendary Pignose but Jonathan at The Harmonica Company was really helpful and I ended up with the Tweed Version. This amp is absolutely filthy and just what i was looking for. If you play around with tone and volume knobs on your guitar you can make it do all sorts..It's the amp version of a wren, small bird, enormous sound.

bit pricey but looks great.
Expensive for what it is but great novelty value, very lightUse volume on guitar to keep clean sound, would benefit from a headphone jack.
