Great lock! Very convenient with the combo lock, and the mount works well. I would've preferred the mount to be screwed tight but so far it works well. The lock looks chunky enough to probably discourage most thieves.

I bought this a couple times, its really good if you put it on correctly.

I just received a brand new Kryptolok Combo and it does not open with 0-0-0-5 as it should. I have also tried 0-0-0-0 and 1-2-3-4 and other standard combinations, but nothing works. I have tapped the lock repeatedly with a rubber mallet according to the support page recommendations. I have sprayed pure silicone into the mechanism. I have sprayed Houdini. I let it sit out in the sun. I used a rubber mallet and a screwdriver to try to push the lever to the left with more force. I have tried to reach Kryptonite by phone and they don't respond to voicemail messages. I have tried to use the online Kryptonite support resources but the form that I have filled out multiple times has failed to send each time because of some requirement that I "read the disclaimers" that don't seem to be accessible from the form or because the form requires me to provide the key number (for a combo lock?!) or some other nonsensical requirement. This is clearly a company more interested in creating obstacles for customers than solving their problems.

Solid lock. Very heavy, but just what I needed for my expensive new hybrid bike. Comes with a mounting system that I did not use. I carry the lock on my back rack with a bungee cord. Combo is convenient and has big letters. TB

Great durable lock for your bike. Easy combination method. Need to review the videos for all instructions to set the lock and install the lock bracket to the bike. No written instructions provided. The YouTube link provided for bracket instructions is no longer available. Just Google to search for video instruction.

Excellent lock. Combo makes use a breeze, and no need to carry keys. Extremely easy to change combo. The unlatch mechanism is very smooth, unless it is under extreme tension, which is likely the problem with most of the negative reviews. Ie: if you have to force the lock together to get it to latch, you need to force it together while you try to unlatch (to reduce the tension). This is the only lock I will buy from now on.

I love this bike lock because it is keyless. I have deliberately eliminated as many keys as possible in my life and this was one important purchase in that effort. I commute on my bike regularly and now this bike lock lives on my daily commuter bike. I never have to worry about losing the key, and always have access to my bike when it is locked by remembering a simple 4 digit code... a code which I can reset whenever and as often as I like, very easily. The mount which affixes the lock to my bike works very well, though I did have to play around to find the best position for it. Thankfully it is rather adaptable. I hope I never need to, but I would buy this lock again if need be, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who needs a bike lock, especially if they are trying to live a minimalistic, key-less lifestyle.
