Siendo pionera en la joyería permanente en Puerto Rico, puedo decir que es el soldador más economico y completo que he comprado.Voy a tener un viaje pronto y quería algo pequeño, práctico y encontré el Helix por una fracción del precio de lo que me costaron las 4 equipos diferentes que tengo en mi joyería.Incluye varios regalos y a eso siempre da mucha alegría. No puedo creer como mis otros soldadores siendo más costosos no vinieron tan bien empacados y hasta la caja es hermosa.El equipo se siente robusto y de buena calidad, la manga con la punta del soldador es la más largas del mercado, así es más comodo hacer tobilleras y collares.Siendo joyera orfebre además de hacer joyería permanente. Lo probé haciendo soldaduras para mi marca y realicé 4 pulseras a mi fqmilia y me gustó mucho su ejecución y limpieza teniendo en cuemta que aún no le había colocado el gas.Muy recomendado!

Missing the alligator clip with banana plug so I just ordered one. Also the brush it came with was hardened stiff so not usable. Not a super great start for such and expensive product but hoping once I get all the parts it will work accordingly.

This product is perfect for anyone looking to start or already has a permanent jewelry business. The machine is easy to use and the customer service is unmatched. This is a small/family owned business and i believe from the conversation i had on the phone, one of the family members is who reached out to me when i had questions on their chat online. I was called, texted, and DM’d within five minutes of chatting them on their website. Unmatched customer service.I could not recommend this machine more!!!

I wanted to share my experience with the Helix!!!It's portable.Sleek and elegant looking.The flat black will work with almost any aesthetic.Stand is also a flat black finish with engraved name and logo.Compliments on it from customers saying the logo looks like jewelry.I've been able to weld 26 gauge, 24 gauge, 22 gauge and 20 gauge successfully. 26 gauge I've been able to weld as low as 2. However, I prefer a 3 for 26 gauge gold.I don't weld gold filled, I only weld solid gold and sterling silver. However I had 20 gold filled 24 gauge rings that a supplier sent me. I welded all of them at 6.I find that this machine welds sterling silver better than any other machine I've used. I am not getting the little bump that you get when you do Sterling even though I've been doing this almost 2 years now I still occasionally will get that what I weld sterling silver bump. When I do get them I have to weld again to smooth out or some people use a nail file to smooth out.I find that the stylus cord itself at 42 inches including the stylus is a little bit longer than the other machines. I would like to see a standard 6 ft cord so that when doing anklets it's easier on my back.The stylus cord itself is more flexible than others. I appreciate this because a lot of times when the cord is stiff they coil back and it can make it difficult to work with.I love that there's no touchscreen to break or the cord to bump and change the settings. I've had no problem with the stylus cord hitting the buttons and changing my settings.ConsThe stylus cord is not 6 ft.There's no carrying case for it but I am going to buy a pelican or an off-brand and make my own because I want to be able to transport it safely of course. I'm going to have to wait on that until the ADL is available so I make sure I have room for both.ADL is not available yet.No extra colletsOnly 1 mm collet which means I can't use .5mm if neededIt took me a moment to realize that the on / off button the front was not a true power button but rather it toggles the ready status.Pros.Lightweight and portable.Branding on the front of the machine is clean and minimal It's Not Over the Top.It was easy to set up the setup guide was easy to follow.Whitish printing on the flat black is very nice.Push buttons are easy to use and respond quickly.Everything plugs in nice and snug in the back.I find it while sterling silver better than any other machine I've worked with.You can take the settings down to one Joule if you need to.No touch screen to get broken.You don't have to buy the auto dimming lens unless you want it.It came with some really good eye protection that I actually put on over my prescription sunglasses and still could see through them.ADL screen is coming soon!
