These work nicely but you can see the half circle where the magnified portion is so they look silly on if you wear them like real glasses all day. I was hoping for he magnifier to be part of the glasses not just stuck on like a sticker. guess what can I expect for the low price. I can still use them as readers at night in bed.

You can't beat the price to have glasses that allow you to see both close and far without removing them or looking above the frame. They work great when reading my Kindle or any documents or printed materials. The only issue I have is that I do not use them when sitting at my computer screen since the bifocals are located on the bottom have of the lenses, it requires me to lift my head to look down toward the screen, and for me that is uncomfortable. Otherwise, I wear them all the time.The frame style is somewhat generic and could be designed somewhat better, but for the price, I can live with it, and frame colors should be made available, since they are only limited to black frames.

I tried a progressive pair of glasses that were 6 bucks more expensive than these, and they were blurry up top as well as warped. These bifocals are nice and clear. I needed them for work, so I can look at customers across the room and then down at small checks, without having to take glasses on and off. I got the weakest ones (1x) since my eyes are just starting to have trouble seeing small things close up, (mid 40's are when it all starts going downhill, ha ha). I'm not even that picky, I just needed them to be clear. Progressives seem to always have a blurry area, and honestly, I don't care how bifocals look. These are just fine, and they fit my small head (I'm a thin female). They are straight across like most glasses, and because they are plastic you can't bend them to fit your face better, but I need plastic frames because the other kind gets caught up in my curly hair. They were shipped in bubble wrap, in a bubble wrap envelope, so I was shocked they didn't get crushed during shipping. No case, no cloth, just bubble wrap. In the end, I just needed something asap for work, and these will get it done, so all the rest is whatever. I got what I needed. Case closed, : )

These work really well. The top of the lens is very clear and there is no distortion at all. Also, really comfortable for an average size woman's head. They're a bit Buddy Holly in appearance but I can live with that.

Love these glasses and will probably order another pair. Very convenient to be able to read and then look up without removing my glasses! In a perfect world the reader sense would be the length of the bottom of the glasses, but - for what these are they are great. Highly recommend. Was tired of peering over the top of my glasses!!

I have 20/20 vision at a distance in one eye, but a serious viral infection in the other eye left it with no useful vision except some peripheral vision. When I had to take a vision test to renew an expired driver license, the examiner declared my vision "impaired" and noted on my license that I was required to wear glasses when driving! I had prescription glasses made, but wore them only when driving. I relied on "reading" glasses for up close work. I have needed to increase the power of the readers, but the optometrist said I would have to have another eye exam and a new prescription. That was the last straw. I searched for a cheaper alternative. I ordered these glasses as bifocal so I could use them at all times without having to ask "where did I leave those ... glasses" three or four time a day. I found these glasses to be exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend them.

Since I'm pretty old, these aren't really retro to me. The frames are am little thicker than the picture, but overall, I like them. I much prefer wearing glasses all the time than putting them on and off constantly and then putting them down and can't finding them. These seem to be well made and they stay on better than some I've had.

Super for people who do not like to take reading glasses on and off all day.Great for grocery shopping. Clear comfy see thru with reading bifocal below.I wear these when I babysit kids, as I never know when I will need to read to them.I also wear when I am around pets to avoid eye allergies. At home for reading, I still wear pure reading glasses because these make me bend my head in a non-comfy reading-in-bed situation.
