A Nifty Little Camping Utensil Set
More times than not stuff like this ends up being quite gimmicky and more of a novelty than useful. I was definitely a little worried that this one would be that way too. However I have to say that I am quite pleasantly surprised at the quality and actual usefulness of this utensil set. It is definitely well designed and well made. Nothing on it feels cheap. All of the components are of high quality. All of the folding components are nice and tight without any wiggle when opened. The various springs throughout the device are plenty strong and hold their corresponding component in place well. Everything is nicely finished and/or polished with clean smooth edges. There's no sharp corners or anything. The overall weight and size is not bad at all considering everything that is on it. It would easily fit into your pocket or most any mess kit. Some people claimed to have a hard time connecting and disconnecting the two sides. However I personally believe that is because of user error and lack of understanding or something because it is a super simple design, is pretty much self explanatory if you just simply look at it, and has gone together extremely easy for me. The fork when separated by itself is very light and feels good in your hand. You can tell that it is meant to be the mainly used utensil of the set. The knife is of a steak knife design with a half serrated blade. It cuts pretty much like you would expect a standard steak knife to cut and is decently sharp for a steak knife. You aren't going to easily do any chopping with it, but it will cut meat with no problem. I used it to eat 1 - 1.5 inch thick pork tenderloins and it cut them just fine and easily. The spoon is one of the most thought out parts. For the most part it is just a standard tablespoon sized spoon, but the special thing about it is that they narrowed down the sides. Not only does this help keep it slimmer and sleek, but for people like me who have a small mouth, it helps to actually be able to eat with the thing. It's aggravating for me to eat with a big tablespoon sized spoon because it barely fits in my mouth and rubs the corners of my mouth when taking a bite. This one doesn't do that at all, but it is still big enough that you could even use it as a small serving spoon if you needed to. Another nice thing about this utensil set is that the can opener is actually sharpened and correctly made. Which will drastically help if you ever have to use it to open a can. The only thing i wish was different about this utensil set is the cork screw. I wish it just didn't have it. A cork screw is something that very very few people ever actually use while camping. Therefore it is pretty much just extra weight and bulk added on for no practical reason. However that is just a wish, not really a complaint because at the same time it's really not that big of a deal being there. It would just be nice if it wasn't. Overall this camping utensil set is a really good and actually useful set. It's also just a pretty cool design. I really like it and I most certainly plan to use it quite often when camping. I really don't have anything bad to say about it and definitely would recommend it.

Versatility on the go!
VERY handy! I keep mine in the 'Go Bag' in my Jeep for road trips and it comes in more handy than you'd think. There's many times I've been out fishing and cooked my crab or fish right on the beach, so this is great for having some eating utinsels right there without having to remember to pck them. Brought a can of veggies or something else with you? No worries as the can opener will take care of that easily. Also has a bottle opener and corkscrew if you need it. Great tool!

Works great and I like it
This is a way better utensil set up than I have seen and used before where you can only use one at a time. Like what if you need to use the spoon and fork at once, or the knife and fork? This gadget you can! You can separate the fork from the knife/spoon combo and use them both at once if you need to. It is made well out of thick stainless steel and it has opener options on it too. You can open bottles, cans and a bottle of wine even with the corkscrew!! This is a really all around great set of utensils and it comes in its own nice carrying bag.

Dreams crushed
The media could not be loaded. Man oh man for some reason I was really looking forward to this multi eating tool. Big fan of goofy trinkets and this was right up my alley. Upon initial inspection things were looking good. The fork half was a little easy to remove from the spoon / knife half but I was comfortable living with that. Cooked up some meat products and it was time to give it a whirl. Upon initial stab of the chop with the fork I quickly discovered that the safety lever that was supposed to keep the fork from collapsing on itself was not going to work at all. It collapsed so easily and I was shocked when my index finger crashed into my meat. The knife didn’t really slice through the meat but more of a tearing action. It was at this point that I decided to go retrieve real cutlery from the kitchen and finish my meal which was absolutely delicious. Big hopes and dreams……crushed. Crying inside.

Durable and solid.
Although it looks rough it is a good easy to use utility knife for camping out hiking. No need to worry about utensils because you have them with you in your pocket or key chain. You can hang it if your pack and it’s easy to clean. Good gift for a scout.

Exceeded expectations
I got this as a functional gag gift for my partner. He used to keep a spoon in his pocket for his work lunches. This multitool fits well in the hand, and has a sturdy feel. The eating utensils are a good sape and size. The fork detaches to allow full use of the cutlery. My partner says it doesn't taste like metal or have a metallic flavor when used. The knife is sharp right out of the packaging. With both a serrated and smooth edge to fill any cutting needs. Once open, it has a automatic locking feature so you can't accidentally close it on yourself. This multitool also comes with a corkscrew wine botle opener. As well as a regular bottle/can opener. The can opener blade is also very sharp and sturdy.Overall we are super happy with this and will enjoy using it regularly.
