Winsor & Newton Winton Oil Color, 200ml (6.75-oz) Tube, Titanium White

only thing that was off was when i first opened it, there was a grayish liquid in the cap and on the first little bit of paint in the tube, but after wiping it up, the rest of the tube seems to be normal, even after using a good amount of it.the paint is nice and thick, and holds it’s shape well. i got the 200ml size and it’s pretty big, so it’s definitely going to last me, and it’s a good deal.

Firstly, if you intend to use this on your miniatures, I personally recommend protecting your painted models with a Gloss Varnish:Mixing this with something like White Spirit makes for an excellent white, oil wash for recess shading/highlighting. The gloss varnish makes it easier for capillary action to occur with the oil wash mixture— and you can use white spirit to clean off the white oil wash that may have spilled somewhere unintended.

I have used this product for years and it works so well when mixing, titanium white will always be on an artist palate.

This is good oil paint for the money

I started oil painting in January with Bob Ross oil paints. They are good, but so expensive so I bought this tube of white when I needed to restock. So far so good. My only complaint is that if I don’t massage the tube before use, I get oil before paint.

This is one of my favorite paints. The quality is always good and the consistency is perfect for an intermediate to professional painter.
