Overall, this product was wonderful for my 2015 grand Cherokee limited. Direct fit, plug and play. Only took 30 min or less to replace, most of that time was halfway removing and reinstalling the interior trim to get to the electrical connection. Popped out the old one and installed the new one in 10 min. All functions of the rear liftgate work as they should, drivers button, rear button, outside handle and remote all function flawlessly. 10/10 if it lasts.

Did not work! Must have been the wrong one.

I bought a more expensive, more reputable brand strut first. It quit working after one week. I decided to take a chance on this one. Three weeks in and it is doing just fine.

I purchased this for my 2012 Jeep SRT8 and it was very literally plug and play. I had to remove a small piece of trim to get to the electrical connector, but that was all. It’s much quieter than the original lift gate mechanism from the factory. Very happy with this purchase and hope it lasts a long time!
