Not as spicy as the other brand, but you get more for your money with this one. They are tasty and I’d buy them again.

Since the product had tteokbokki in the title, I was expecting a mostly spicy snack balanced by sweet and savory flavors. Instead it was much more sweet than savory and very mild spice, to the point that I would say it is not spicy. The chips themselves are long, cylindrical pieces with hollow insides (like pasta) and are very crunchy, which was nice but overall likely won't be getting again

These chips taste as if someone coated them in liquid sugar, let them harden, and then sold them. There is not much of a flavor profile for these chips and if you are looking for Tteokbokki flavor, these chips do not provide that.

This tastes so good, it is really up my ally, but I wouldn't say it tastes like what I expected for tteokbokki flavor. The taste is actually really reminiscent of another Korean snack I love - the honey twists except this one is spicy. It's very hard and satisfyingly crunchy and very sweet. It is spicy but the spiciness really doesn't hit you till a little later, it is one of those delayed spices. As a spice wimp it is a little spicy. The bag is big enough that I wouldn't eat this all in one sitting (although I want to)! If I see this in the mart I would definitely pick it up again.
