Most reliable dimmers
I've installed these throughout my home and they have all worked great. I had originally installed multiple different brands to test and I find homeseer to be the most reliable with zero errors/problems on any of the dimmers. On every other brand I tested I either have had issues with the dinmers going offline or becoming unresponsive and requiring a reset at the circuit breaker. I'm now removing those other brands and replacing with homeseer.I also find the status LED capability to be extremely useful. They notify me if and of our garage doors are open, the gates on the backyard are open, and more. With just a glance at the dimmer, I get a quick overview of the entire home. I use different colors in different positions to allow me to understand the status from a distance. Excellent product.

Nice dimmer, especially if you can use its features.
I already have a couple of WD100+ dimmers and they have worked quite well so I added this WD200+ so I could use the colored LEDs for easy display of system status. It took a couple of tries to include this one in the network but that may have been me and not the dimmer. Once it included everything worked as advertised. The LED control is a bit more involved than typical event setup on the HomeSeer controller but the instructions were adequate to get them working. I don’t know if and how the colored LEDs work with non-HomeSeer hubs so homework would be in order with other systems. The nice thing about the HomeSeer dimmers is that they have a row of white LEDs that display the dimming level. You can of course judge the brightness of the light visually but the level LEDs show you the dimming level at a glance and for what it’s worth they give a high tech appearance, which looks cool. This works on the WD200+ even if you are using the colored LEDs as it switches to displaying the dimmer level while you are pressing the paddle, then switches back to status mode when you release it. Regardless, the WD200+ can operate in either dimmer level or status (colored LED) display mode so being able to control the status LEDs isn’t necessary to use the dimmer. It is in dimmer level mode by default. You can also switch modes from the controller hub if using a System that supports the status LEDs so you can potentially tie the dimmer display mode to your lighting scenes. If you wanted to leave the option to change to a hub that can control the status LEDs later you can likely still use the WD200+ with your current z-wave network as is. However, if you never intend to use the colored status LEDs the WD100+ may be a better choice to save a couple of bucks.Overall I like this dimmer a lot and would recommend it based on my personal experience.

Not a good dimmer. flcikers led bulbs & runs WAY to hot (unsafe in wall), unstable z-way connection.
I got this dimmer to replace some older lutron dimmers, and to upgrade lights to LEDs.I installed the dimmer w/ the old incandescent lights and was alarmed at how hot the dimmer became. It has huge heat-sink tabs on it (which make it hard to fit in the box). Much larger than other dimmers. I assume it's because they know it overheats.I replaced all the bulbs w/ nice Philips dimmable LEDs, the heat went away, but at anything less than 1/2 the dim range they flicker. A lot. It makes low dim levels un-usable. The minimum dim level needed to be set at the highest point, and even then they flickered.I swapped up the dimmer with two others, a levitron wifi, and a digital lutron. Neither flickered (same bulbs). Both of these will go very dim w/ no visible flicker at all.Lastly, these dimmers would "lose" their z-wave connection to my hub every few days.I bought a few of them. They had all the same issues, so it's not a one-off defect.Basically : Do not buy. Not a good dimmer, not a good z-wave. I'd avoid these if possible.

RGB LED lights are the best!
The RGB LED lights are really nice to have as status notifiers! I use this with SmartThings. Basic functionality worked right out of the box and then using WebCore and the custom device handler there is a lot you can do with this switch. I use the LED's to tell if there are any other lights on in the house, to tell if my thermostat is set to heating mode, and to tell if my motion sensors are detecting any motion. Highly recommend this switch. Only slight issue I had is it would not dim 5 cheap low wattage LED lights I had. They were all either on at 100% or off. By switching one of them out with a higher wattage or different brand LED bulb they all dim properly now.

Good, but integration could be better
The media could not be loaded. Impressive. The good:It remembers last stateIt shows a jeweled string to indicate brightness which looks really niceThe switch feels very good too, nice and clicky and good tactile feedback, not spongy. The soso:I was not thrilled to see the developer level integration steps. They have the steps documented fairly well to have the integration.I also admit that I did those steps after seeing that it was not in the list of device names but I did not check what would have happened if I had tried to add the dimmer without the integration. As in would it have performed basic dimmer functions without the fancy scene functions.Smart stuffThe zwave plus abilities were recognized and with little trouble I had added to my hub and integrated with phone app etc.
