I did a lot of digging, and the Sungold 8k Hybrid Inverter checked all the boxes... high power output... solid build quality... hybrid functionality... and the ability to work with solar, batteries, and the grid. A lot of other brands felt overpriced or overcomplicated.Plus, I saw enough real-world reviews and videos showing this thing in action to feel confident it wasn’t just spec-sheet fluff. And now that I’ve installed it... I can say it was the right call. Rock solid performance without needing to babysit it every day.I recently purchased and installed the Sungold 8k Hybrid Inverter... and to say I’m impressed would be an understatement. This thing is built like a tank and performs even better than I expected. Once it's set up and configured, it’s completely hands-off... just the way I like it. It quietly does its job and hasn't missed a beat.It even charges my EV6 without breaking a sweat... which honestly shocked me. I figured I’d be tripping breakers or babysitting amps, but nope... smooth sailing. Sungold, you sly overachiever.The only minor hiccup was the manual... let’s just say it reads more like a riddle in spots. Some settings only work properly when paired with another specific setting... and that connection isn’t clearly explained. But I emailed support, and they got back to me fast... helped straighten out a few things... and now the system is running exactly how I want it.Already planning to buy more from Sungold... solid gear... great support... and a setup that just works. Highly recommend.

Received and installed my inverter as an off grid solution to power my pool equipment. System uses PV, Battery and Mains thru a transfer switch. Install and Configuring was straight forward, and Inverter communicated with my battery (RuiXu 48/16Kw) just fine. System is working and switching between power sources as expected using setting 01 at SOL and Battery Charge at CSO. I did initially have an issue with battery not charging at full 60A capability and some settings stuck, but after a factory reset everything works as expected. Support for my issue was prompt ( chat immediately and followup email the next day) so no complaints there.

I was happy to receive this item and had no issues installing it. One of the first things I ran in am issue with was the SOC not reporting or displaying correctly. After having it for a little over month it stopped charging. I attempted to contact tech support twice once for the soc and once for the charging. No help was available and the only response I received from the company was to change the battery voltage to correct the soc. When I asked where do I do that at which setting. Which btw was my first question and when I got that answer I told them apparently you don't know your product. I am still waiting for a reply. I called the company when it stopped charging my batteries and am still waiting on a call back. I contacted Amazon and they authorized a return of the item with a refund of the purchase price minus $400. I will be contacting Amazon again to find out why and will update this review. All I can say is if you choose to purchase this item that you have better luck then I did. I really don't like to write reviews that are negative but I was left with no other choices. Contacted Amazon customer service and found out they are charging me a $370 restocking fee on an item that stopped working. So I paid $1690 + $160.78 tax = $1850 and because the item stop working i am only getting a refund for $1480.78. So you make your choice before purchasing this item. You have been warned!
