While the sound is good, the proprietary charging cable and the poor battery life are real drawbacks to these earbuds.
While the sound quality is very good, the microphone is not (I tried several calls and only one person said I sounded good while the others said I sounded either distant, in a tunnel or under water.Additionally, I've had a problem where the sound in the left earbud goes out, but the bud is still on as the volume and power button (technically a Multi Function Button). Rebooting the buds gets the channel back, but this has happened twice in the first 30 minutes of use. The battery life is also lacking - the listing indicates "3 hours of Bluetooth streaming, 5 hours of MP3 listening, 3 hours talk time" (what is "bluetooth streaming" vs."MP3 listening"?), but streaming from Spotify with about 15-20 minutes of phone calls in there, and my battery in one ear was done in 2 1/2 hours. The biggest drawback to me, is the proprietary charging cable, something not called out clearly in the product listing. I'm the type of person who keeps multiple sets of charging cables - a set at home, a set at the weekend home, a set at the office, a set in my backpack and travel kit - so I am never without necessary cables. While this cable is nice, it is both proprietary and apparently only available as part of the headphone package - if you lose or damage the cable or decide you want another one for any reason - you are apparently going to be buying another set of earbuds. This is a poor and anti-consumer choice by New Trent. Other wireless headsets I have plug into a case that uses a micro USB plug to charge. From a previously consumer friendly company, the proprietary and apparently non-replaceable charging cable is a real bummer. As I said earlier, sound quality is good. I like the hook so they stay in place better than buds that simply insert into the ear. The controls are easy to get used to, although not intuitive.

Left side drops out at 20 minutes
Edited 4/20/18I’m now having problems paring the left side when they power up. I have to turn them in and off several times to get both sides to pair.I waited quite a while to review these earbuds. Here are my thoughts after a few months of use.The earbuds, themselves, are light and the tips are very comfortable. They come with three sizes of tips, so they should fit most ears. I actually use one medium tip and one small tip. If you have a problem with the earbuds fitting correctly on one side, give this a try.I've not used these to talk on my phone, so I'm not sure how that worksPros:-The sound is decent, but nothing spectacular. I would say these are about the same as my Skull Candy earbuds. I've never used anything high end, so I'm used to this sound.-The paring was easy and there is an icon that shows up on my iPhone, indicating battery life. But, see below.-The ear hooks make these pretty secure.-These charge fairly quickly.-The blinking blue light isn't overly bright.Neutral:-It comes with a carrying case that is decent, but nothing special. It could stand to be just a little bigger. OTOH, it is decently made.Cons:-The battery life indicator isn't accurate. I've started a workout with over 50%, and had the earbuds die in 20 minutes. Easy enough to deal with, I just charge them every third use.-Paring. This is why I took 1.5 stars. Initially, these stayed paired during my entire workout (30-40 minutes). About a month ago, the left earbud started dropping out at about the 20 minute mark. It would just completely stop working, but still be on. Pressing the left earbud power switch turns off the right earbud. A second press then turns off the left one. So, I have to turn off both earbuds and turn them back on, again, to have them pair back up. In another 20 minutes, the left earbud will do the same thing. This is very annoying. This happens every time I use themIf the earbud didn't drop out every workout, I'd give these 5 stars.

Wireless music listening!
I've always wanted true wireless headphones!!Most bluetooth headphones have a wire that connect the two earpieces together. They have a mic for taking calls, so you'd have to remove one earbud and hang it down around your neck for best results. It comes with a magnetic charger that each piece attaches to for charging up. It connects seamlessly to my phone and is so easy to use. The BEST part is the microphone. Most headphones I've used of this style has a horrible mic and using it to take calls is useless cause I sound like I'm underwater. This one captures my voice nice and clear while these headphones are on and I don't have to yell. LOL! I'm super duper happy with these cause they work great and don't look weird like the ones apple makes.UPDATE: 1/31/18I've been using this for a few weeks after the initial review. I truly continue to enjoy using them to listen to music. The problem I am now encountering is the option to use just the right side for phone calls. I followed the instructions in the manual to be able to use just one side but after maybe 10 minutes, the right side just disconnects completely or shuts off. I was trying to handle my kids birthday party that day and really could've used this wireless headset so I wouldn't miss calls as I ran around like a headless chicken. This didn't work for me. So, I lowered my rating. For music listening and decent volumes so you can still hear things around you, this is a great set. For people who need to remain connected and wireless at the same time, this didn't work for me. The battery lasted me one full day of maybe 11 hours before it needed to be charged up again.
