This is my favourite snack ever. I absolutely love bombay mix (the proper stuff, not the supermarket crap) and used to schlep across Manchester to stock up on a type I found in my quest for the perfect bombay mix in a shop in Rusholme. I've since moved area and whilst it is so delicious that I have been known to eat it for each meal for several days at a stretch, I cannot justify doing a 140 mile round trip to get more. This is the perfect alternative. It's got the smaller sticks and plenty of dhal which I like and there's plenty of flavour rather than full on spice, but it's got a good kick to it after the first mouthful: our adult children can't manage it, happily. It's packed fresh in a foil lined, vacuum sealed bag and comes over from India: I like all Haldiran's snacks for the freshness as well as taste.As I said, the pieces are quite small so my husband eats it with a spoon from a bowl, otherwise it ends up all over the place.
