Works as expected
I’m using this paired with RaceChrono Pro and it has been flawless. Pairing and connecting to satellites(?) has been consistent and quick. My use case is Autocross and HPDE.I have no comments on the RaceBox software itself but I’ll probably give it a try eventually. One ding against this product is that the included Velcro + sticky pads are great for holding the device to your dash, but in my case when I try to remove the device the Velcro is a little too strong and actually pulls the other pad off my dash. I did wipe the dash clean prior to applying the tape and also made sure it was dry. Not a huge issue, but could use some improvement from RB potentially. The device is magnetic but I’m not sure I’d trust it on the outside of my car. It also has a threaded hole on the bottom (similar to a camera tripod mount) so there are at least a few options.Overall, 5/5. Way better than phone GPS in terms of accuracy and how often it updates. USB-C, yes!! Stable connection to my phone, reliable, decent build quality and looks good overall. It even comes with a carrying case :)

Great addition to any car data aquas
Very accurate gps sensor. A bit slow to acquire satellites, but that is part of the accuracy. My only dig would be that a power button might be nice.

Product Doesn't Hold Up / Customer Service must be AI Robot
I wish I could say this product is great, but that would be far from the truth. When it worked, it was much better than the iPhone GPS for use on the track, as I leverage it for HPDE 5-8 weekends a year. However, my experience has been one of constant problems and runarounds with the customer service team at RaceBox, where I believe they just have a robot/AI responding to emails and no way to call in.Here is my experience: I don’t typically write reviews, but their handling and my paying $175 three years ago for maybe 7-8 weekends it actually worked out of the 30+ weekends I needed it is crazy, so I don’t recommend it.I had the original Mini that I purchased three years ago and had issues with connection, which they helped with. That worked for maybe 6 weekends off and on, intermittently. That isn’t great when you are at a track and don’t have time to mess around troubleshooting, and they aren’t available except by email anyway. They replaced it for me after going back and forth for over a month on email as the original Mini became a brick. My cost was $25 to pay for a new refurbished model, which lasted for only 2 events: one last year and one this April before it wouldn’t connect anymore.I reached out again this May, and they had me go through many steps over the month with the product and app. The product looks good with green lights and everything else working but doesn’t connect to the iPhone/their app.Long and short, the product has many flaws, customer service is not the best, this is a known issue, and they don’t seem to care. Now it is a $175 paperweight. I should have gone with the Garmin Catalyst to begin with.

Good hardware but bad software
I got this product - not through Amazon - The product showed up - Easy to install - Requires Android 9 to run so older phones will not work. The Android version of the software crashes a lot when trying to review the recorded data.
