Simple, compact, portable, well designed.
Compact, portable and powerful for its size. Just be realistic with what it's designed for - finish work, like trim, edging, and clean up. 1/4" shank, so keep that in mind. It compliments my existing Dewalt tools and batteries nicely.

Powerful, Precise, and Cordless Freedom!
Typical DeWalt quality — tough, reliable, and built to perform. Highly recommend if you're in the 20V MAX ecosystem.

Quality product, durable, powerful.
The media could not be loaded. Been using this to trim zip board on window openings. Powerful, easy to use, and durable.

Perfect trim router.
Possibly the perfect trim router. They make a corded version, but this size runs well on a battery. Great to keep at the ready with your favorite roundover, chamfer, or flush trim bit.Height adjustment is the best design feature.

Love this router for occasional use…
Yeah I love this portable router. Lightweight, quiet (as possible), stable and it’s Dewalt which is my preferred brand.

Strong and efficient
This is a strong tool. Sturdy and solid through and through. Being a novice woodworker and diy’er this little guy handle my needs very well. Easy to use and well balanced. If you have the budget this router is the way to go.

Dewalt
One word “Dewalt” never lets me down. Great trim router. Now into the plunge router.

Great router!
Wish I bought this earlier. It's quieter than the 120VAC version but seems to be just as capable. I did pair it with a PowerStack battery rather than the old-school version but I can't say whether that made a difference. The only thing I don't understand is the instructions. If you know how to use a router, any router, you can ignore them and just use this like any other. But if you want to know what xyz-little-detail is on this thing? Forget it. The instructions are a low-res, low-detail, useless mess straight out of the 90's. The only thing they're missing is being printed in purple because they were mimeographed.
