I use this to hold a dash cover in place on my 2000 Ford F-150 that would slide down the dash on its own. Rather than using sticky adhesive on the dash cover and getting my dash gummy, I've used this to pinch my dash cover to the dash where it meets the windshield.

I purchase one of these before to place on my 17 accord since it was awful in terms of wind noise from the windshield but also rattlings and solved the issue beautifully.Got this one to place on a windshield of a 2012 murano for the same reason, it is a little smaller on the top and smaller on the bottom piece that slides in and seems more slippery, maybe because the grippers are not as pronounced outwards to latch on, also a little thinner so when it came time to place it on the more rounded and spaced out glass of the murano, would pop out as you move couple of inches with the install. Placed it on the sun for a day to make the rubber more pliable and seems to have helped a lot when installing it. In the end though ended using it on the back glass between that and the plastic trim, was a better fit there since it was a tighter space and didn’t come off. Recommend as you’ll find a place for it to lower rattles or wind no matter where since this is what you bought it for to begin with, just take those things into account.

After installing this rubber strip, it looks better than before, and I don’t have to worry about something falling in the seam. It seems that the noise is a little less, which is not bad.
