Stormguard 18SR734 5 m x 50 cm Reflective Radiator Foil 5M X 50cm, Silver

This is a thinner product than most, without a foam backing, but the actual material is fairly thick and sturdy - it's not going to accidentally tear. The cord reinforcement actually gives you some good straight lines to cut to.I used it for a different application where the thinness was a benefit (I lined a new oven cabinet to protect the wood from heat damage), and used branded double-sided tape to mount instead of the pads provided. The first application was a bit of a mess, but the second and third were really nice, tight and wrinkle-free.I can't comment on efficiency, especially compared to alternatives - that needs lab tests. But I was happy with the finished job and would confidently use again.

I used behind radiators on outside walls, I thought it would help to retain heat from the radiator and allow the room to become hotter quicker, but in short it doesn't work.You don't get much in the way of guidance. I get what your probably thinking... how difficult can a strip of "glorified foil" be to place behind a radiator, but it just doesn't offer any help.I don't think this product is worth buying!

great item .. have noticed when heating is on that it heats the room alot quciker so doing its job

Installed properly (see picture) and was very easy to install using double sided sticky pads, but absolutely useless. Made no difference at all.As useless as a big useless thing with a very good reason for being useless

Better than expected. Quite thin as others have mentioned but that’s handy when you have thin radiators tightly close to walls. Good amount of product. I am yet to put this behind all my radiators but will definitely buy again if I need more.

Does what it says on the box, easy to apply, thickness/weight of 'sheet' is good, very happy with it.

Its good and the sticky pads are easier than some other products like this. Good value for money
