I have a moderate drive shepherd mix that loves a flirt pole, so this is an excellent option for him. He LOVES a game of tug, so this just hits all the right notes. The longer handle give me a lot of leverage and our games of tug have been much more satisfying for him.I also have a younger collie who is very low drive, especially for toys. This was, surprisingly, very high value for her, and I've been successful in building her drive slowly with help from this toy.It is about halfway to being bald now, from where I haven't been quick enough to grab it from her and stop her from plucking at it, but that's a me problem; this is a tug toy, not a chew toy.

It's a good product as advertised, just wish it was a bit sturdier in the lower part . See photo.

The media could not be loaded.  My aggressive chewers go crazy for this tug toy. They like jumping for it and playing tug of war. I never leave it unattended with them or it would be shred to pieces. They do occasionally rip out bits of fur during play but it’s still very usable. Will definitely repurchase.

My bully pup shredded the fur on this one and I constantly have to make sure he's not eating this stuff. The bite pad is fairly narrow.. if I had to guess maybe 2" strip of pad that is under the fur. The strap is holding up well even after leaving it with my pup to be chewed accidentally.

This is the greatest one I got! Because it is fur the dogs love chassing it and are really interested which is good for my prey driven springer! The bungee rope is sturdy and allows for some good tug of war. My Golden did get ahold of the toy on its own and started tearing the fur appart. This is not made for them to play on their own, a lot of fur does come out of the toy so I guess it will have to be replaced at some point. But overall holds it pretty well and is great to play with the dogs!

Good size for my 50 and 60 lb GSPs. If you have a “defluffer” they will love this but use with supervision so they don’t eat it.

Got this yesterday and my pup is in love with it. These toys are great for high drive dogs, it tires her out within 10 minutes. My only issue is that it loses fur easily as others have mentioned, so I often have to get it the lose fur out of her mouth. Not sure if this is common for sheepskin. I'll probably buy from CleanRun for the next one.Updated: this is horrible, it loses fur so easily. Poor quality. Would not recommend. Buy from Cleanrun

Absolute favorite right out of the box! Puppy loves it - we use it as reward play and then pack it away so he can’t chew it to shreds. Nice that it is a bit longer so I don’t have to stay bent over so long. Keeps his focus as long as I’m willing to play!

Doggo absolutely loves this toy, we use it for training only but the fur pulls off very easily. They dont last long in our house.
