Kick-ass Carpenters Bib
I got this because I work in a cabinet shop and I was getting glue, acetone and other gooey items, on all my shirts, while building cabinetry. I decided to get this and give it a try as I was running out of shirts. It is finally nice to end the day and not be loaded with wood dust, glue, body putty and every other product to put cabinets together. This carpenter's bib is made of durable soft canvas and has a hoot load of pockets to fit my note pads, pens, measuring tape, and other items like screws and nails. There is even a couple straps to hold hammer and tools. A great buy for the money.

A little too ironic, don't ya think
So, I was in the market for a work apron. My tool belt slides down my butt/hips too much to make it comfortable to wear. So I started looking at various work aprons that would stand up to the abuse I will put them through. Initially, I was looking at the Duluth Trading tool apron because they have really good quality gear but I didn't like the absence of shoulder pads and where the straps set on your shoulders so I started looking at alternatives. That's how I ended up on this page looking at this apron. Ironic that it's produced by a company called "Angry Beaver" and Duluth Trading's mascot is an angry beaver. I don't know if it's intentional or not but I find it very ironic. At any rate, I ended up purchasing this apron because of how the straps hang, the shoulder pads (when you're carrying a load of tools, they're a god send), and the way in which the straps thread through the apron. First impression of the product is that it's excellent quality and design. I'm a big fella with big broad shoulders and a thick neck. This thing sits comfortably on my shoulders and isn't uncomfortable around my torso when tied (I've got some girth: 6', 342lbs.) In terms of function, it'll hold all of my fencing tools and I can even hang some power tools on it (e.g., a cordless drill or impact). The material is heavy duty and seems like it will wear well, only time will tell. The only things they can do to make this apron better is make some of the larger pockets a little larger to hold more fasteners and add some mesh at the bottom so saw dust falls through. Other than that, I think its a quality product and costs less than the Duluth Trading version.

but the quality was excellent. I liked the number of pockets
I received my apron right away and was really excited when I got it. I happened to be working on my fence and I immediately opened it up and put it on. It met my expectation with everything I read about in the advertisement. The material to me was just right, not stiff, but the quality was excellent. I liked the number of pockets, (for me, I could always used more), whereas other companies had hardly any. I liked the two hammer loops on the sides. Since I received it, I have worn it everyday while working on my fence and it has kept my clothes clean whereas before when I took my shirt at night, I couldn’t believe how dirty my shirts got. Since having my apron, my shirts don’t look dirty at all, but they still go into the laundry, however, at least they won’t come out of the laundry with some sort of mark or stain I picked up during my project. I don’t know about you, but when working on projects and although I tried to be careful, without knowing it, I somehow still got a spot on my clothes, some of which don’t come out in the wash. I highly recommend this apron to thoughs who are tired of looking for a tool or a pencil and want to stay clean after your working project. I am happy with the overall apron and if you want quality material with pockets then this is the apron for you.

I use this every day
I added plastic buckles, which were not included. After that minor expense, the apron was perfect. An easy one to recommend.

Useful woodworking apron with plenty of pocket storage
Getting into wood working and I am tired of setting down tools and then when I need them (of course while my hands are full) they are across the room from where I am working. This apron has a lot of space for carrying various tools around. My only concern was if it could hold a speed square, since there are no pictures showing that; for those who may be wondering something similar- the left pocket is definitely large enough for a 6” speed square. I also was able to bend and move without anything falling out of the pockets, although I did not use the large chest pocket. Helped keep sawdust off the front of my clothes. Now I just need to get used to putting the tools in the apron as opposed to tossing them on the work bench. Only downside so far has been adjusting the straps to keep it comfortably on the shoulders. Look at the photo carefully, the straps go over shoulders and through loops at the waist and then are tied behind the back, takes a little bit to get used to making it comfortable.

Love it. Did my research and not disappointed
Best shop apron ever. Sturdy and has shoulder straps with cushion versus the ones that pull on the back of your neck. Professional. Added snaps to the shoulder pads so it doesn’t slip or move.

Well made and good value.
Well made and good value. This does not have a heavy wax in fact it seems to have little wax. I splashed a bit of water on it and it didn't bead up like the back of a duck but one reason I bought this was of some of the stiffness and staining mentioned in reviews of other aprons. I also noted this has rivets in certain pocket areas that I did not see on others. The straps are not long enough to tie in the front as some reviewers seem to want (I don't) and that would seem to interfere with the pockets anyway. One reason I like this over other is the two hammer loops. Others have only one and many have none. I do find that they tend to pull the apron forward a bit so I might just use a separate belt mounted holster.Overall I don't see the need to spend more for others and am happy with the product.
