Cortex Steamliner 1.5" Flat Iron Replacement Tank

I was excited that I didn't have to replace the entire flat iron given that it cost me $150.00, ordering this piece for 9.99 was a deal. Only to order this tank, get it and the piece does not snap or fit into place. The two prongs are too fat to fit in the holes to connect it. I am soo disappointed. Now I guess I will rubber band my old one back on and let oil drip out while I am flat ironing my clients. I will never buy this brand flat iron or any product of theirs again. This iron cost too much for this tank to break.

Did not fit my straightener. The holes on the flat iron did not line up with the pegs on this replacement part. I had to remove the rubber cap from the new piece and use it on the old piece to fix the problem I was having with the original part.

Just like the previous reviewer has stated, this does not fit the flat iron!!! I was extremely disappointed as well! I really love my flat iron and was hoping to use it. Oh well.
