Great for trimming small pieces
This little guy works well for trimming the sides of small pieces. It isn't something I use everyday but it has a place in my toolbox.

Works beautifully for holding pieces in place while I trim them.
I wasn't having any luck with holding pieces on the wheel while trimming. I tried using lugs of clay and my piece would just bend. I tried holding a finger on top and the piece would escape. This works beautifully.
