They Work Like They Should
These are decent lights and have multiple features that can be tailored to your usage. You'll get two identical sets of 9 watt LED Light, a screw adapter with hook to insulate the screw shell (Bulb Base) and hang the bulb from a line, tree branch, hook, etc., a multifunction remote control, and USB-C cord to charge them from a USB port. Or you can simple screw in these bulbs to a standard E26 light socket for charging. There is a red indicator to show charging. That red indicator will turn blue when the bulbs are fully charged. The bulbs are fairly bright on high and have three brightness settings, Low, Medium, and High. You can also set the "Color Temperature" for a warm or cool glow. You can turn on the bulbs by a touch sensor on the housing or by using the included remote. You also have to option to set the on time 15, 30, or 60 minute time periods. The remotes comes with batteries installed; just remove the insulator tab sticking out of the battery tray. These make a nice emergency light, light for camping, or anyplace you can use some temporary light. You get two complete sets and they can be charged by a solar panel with a USB port, by an inverter you may have in your car or truck, or by simply screwing them into your normal lamp sockets. The enclosed instructions are fairly clear and operation of the bulbs and remotes are fairly intuitive.I'm using these at my vacation house for when those pesky hurricanes come and we lose power. I have portable solar panels and generators so I can charge these from multiple sources. You can likely find a good reason to have these available. I'll keep mine charged up and available so I can use them for an emergency or when I just need some more light in a dark place. As per the manufacturer: "The battery light bulb has a built-in rechargeable battery, which lasts for 4 hours at 100% brightness, 8 hours at 50% brightness, and 10 hours at 10% brightness. Generally, it takes 7 hours to fully charge.""Emergency Light】Long battery life. A product specially designed for power outages, press the "EL" button on the remote control, the bulb will not light up when the power is on, and light up when the power is" off.I don't know that I'd use their "Emergency Light Feature," but it's there as an option. I prefer to use the bulbs like conventional bulbs and would turn them on either remotely or manually during a power outage/emergency.

Just what I needed
We have moved to Europe but I couldn’t part with my 2 favourite lamps. I haven’t been able to find anyone to rewire them, or learned to do it myself. These bulbs solve that problem! I love the three colors of light and the remote. My only complaint is the location of the charging port and shortness of the charging cable. It’s nearly impossible to charge them while still in the lamp. I’ve got some longer USB-C cables and I’ll fiddle around with the shade placement vs the port to see if I can find a way to make that work better for me. I appreciate the two little “emergency” hooks that come with them too. All in all, a good solution and I’d definitely recommend them.

Not do lot up
The light is great for occasional use but requires to much taking out and charging if it’s a non-wired light fixture you use often. We have a set in our bedroom sconces over our night stands. But they require charge up every 4-5 days

Easy way to get light.
I do my own electrical work. I even enjoy it.But, why add or extend a circuit when rechargeable are getting so good?Product is well built. Works either by touching the bulb, with the remote turned on (?) or with the remote. We ordered 4 bulbs, each came with a remote. Any remote works all the bulbs. The range for the remote is not super long, so don’t worry about turning the neighborhood dark. And, if you happen to put one of these bulbs in a lamp, don’t plug in the lamp. I’m pretty sure that won’t help it’s durability

Good emergency battery powered bulbs that work as advertised.
These bulbs work exactly as advertised. They are fairly bright (on the highest setting) for a battery operated light bulb. They can be charged by either USB or screwing into a normal light socket like a lamp. If they are used in a lamp socket they can be set to automatically come on in case of a power failure (nice feature if you are going to mount them somewhere as emergency only lights). The touch on function can be a bit fidgety. You touch them pretty much anywhere and they turn on and off (repeatedly if you are carrying them around). They change color temperature with the touch of a button on the remote and they remember the last setting that they were set to. So if you are like me and like white, after you set them to white they remember it.These are NOT addressable light bulbs. While they do not claim to be addressable I thought I would point this out specifically, since they look (and are priced) similarly to other bulbs that are addressable. You are not going to control these thru home automation.I have tried these in both lamp application and battery operated, and they do provide a reasonable amount of light in both situations. The timer function (accessed thru the remote) turns them off after 15-30-60 minutes and is reasonable accurate (in my experiements +-1 minute). So why not 5 stars? Two 1/2 star reasons:1) Price. These are a bit expensive for what they are. I realize this is subjective but at 60% price these would be a no-brainer2) Mine came in the package with one of the domes detached. And while I was able to pop it back on, it didn’t exactly leave me expecting the highest quality item. (See picture)These lights seem to work exactly as advertised, and I will update this review in the future if they don’t perform as expected over time.

Great for emergencies.
Whoever created these deserves a medal. With storms kicking up this season I finally broke out these lightbulbs because I remembered I'd plugged them in like normal. Remote to control, dimmable settings, warm-cool light settings and charges via the socket so you don't have to worry about charging. But it does come with a charging cord if needed.Helped a lot when the power went off this last weekend, thanks.
