It really does inflate ! I like it !

This item was very basic... like not firm or at all able to prop you while sitting. What ever was used for filling, it does not have enough and or not the correct filling

The media could not be loaded.  This thing doesn't deserve one star this is so disgusting and disappointing all the foam inside is like dryrot it's crumbling there's absolutely no use for it I brought this for my disabled son and it's garbage so disgusting and disappointed

This is very lumpy. Even fluffing as recommended didn't really help.

This pillow is comfortable to sit against and has a good density to the cushioning.When this pillow arrived and I opened the vacuum-sealed package there was a noticeable odor that dissipated by the time the pillow was fully fluffed up. Fluffing this pillow does require quite a bit of shaking, scrubbing, pushing and pulling. I believe it's filled with small (maybe cherry tomato sized) pieces of memory foam. The pieces are kind of stuck together when you first open the package so the fluffing serves to break those up, allowing them to expand.Once it's fully fluffed, this pillow retains it's shape quite nicely. It has a comfortable amount of squish when you lean against it but still provides nice support. If you run your hand across it you can feel the little memory foam lumps but they're small enough to not be noticeable when you're sitting against the pillow. The fabric is soft and velvety feeling and the color is a great neutral grey.Overall, I'm very happy with this pillow. Looks nice and works great for snuggling into with a good book and a cup of tea.

The directions speak about fluffing this thing for a week before it becomes full expanded, but what they don't tell you is that you will ALWAYS have to fluff it. It never, EVER, holds its shape. And not one single photo used in the add is authentic...every.single.case. of a human leaning against this pillow is Photo-shopped...every.single.one. This pillow never looks like the photos--not matter how many times it's fluffed. NO, I would not recommend this, under any circumstances. The pillow rates a 0 but I have the 2 for Amazon--because I've already received a refund after dropping it off at a Whole Foods Store today. Amazon has the best return policy of all. I suggest they do better though and not allow those AI photo-shopped ads.

This pillow is great for using on the couch or in bed when you want to read, watch tv, or use your computer or tablet. The memory foam filling allows you to adjust the shape and support of the pillow to suit your preference. To me, it is a very versatile and comfortable pillow that can be used in a variety of ways.

First of all, it does take a few days for it to reinflate. It comes vacuum packed, which is very convenient for shipping and means that you don't have to lug a giant box around, which I totally understand. You do have to follow the instructions and fluff it up for a few days. The inside is very solid at first, you have to kinda break it up into smaller and smaller chunks. Once it is fully fluffed, it is pretty supportive but that means its not super soft. I personally like this, as I don't want to just sink into it. I got it to be back support for a reason! Its not like a pillow or a squishmallow or memory foam, so if that's what you're looking for this is not the one. However, with that said, I found it very serviceable for my needs. Sometimes after long uses or if I'm using it to sit on (such as when I'm cross legged and need a bit more support on my behind to keep my posture) I've noticed it will need some refluffing again. It hits at about mid/upper back for me, so it does not provide neck support. I'm okay with this as I like to be able to lean my head back and it helps to not be super curled up/slouched all the time. I sometimes add a little pillow if I want that cushion.One thing to note is the side pocket is not as large as pictured so it doesn't fit an ipad well, and nowhere near structured enough for something like a drink. Honestly I don't really use it, as there is a high chance of whatever you end up putting in there ending up under the pillow and therefore under your elbow!With these considerations in mind, I think it is a pretty good supportive pillow and I use it on a daily basis. I find it very well suited to my needs, and if your needs are similar, I'd highly recommend it.
