I love these hanging lights, I call them my child proof lamps, it very hard to knock something over that hangs from the ceiling… perfect if you have toddlers or even big boys who want to horse around the living room. Nothing to knock down

Tl;dr: badly made electronics which can cause fire hazard.I opened the package, connected the cord to the shade, used a dimmable bulb from another lamp to test it (bulb works before and after testing), and this lamp wouldn’t work.I verified that the outlet was fine, all was connected as it should, and used the twistable switch to turn it on and off but results were spotty. Sometimes it worked, but mostly it didn’t actually turn on the light. When it did, it didn’t behave regularly- it would jump between brightness levels, only get to about halfway bright, then not work again.This brings me to believe the problem is the cheap plastic dimming switch, clearly the electrical connections inside are poorly constructed. This could then also cause a fire hazard so I’m not risking it in my house.Packaging right back up and sending back as defective. Disappointing.

if you are looking for something like this as a plug in grow light, check the size of the bulbs to make sure they will fit. The perimeter was too small for the bulb we got and the voltage was too much for this product. works well with a normal bulb though! super cute boho vibe

Seems very well made and I LOVE it except the dimmer switch doesn’t turn on the bulb until about 75% on and when the light finally turns on, it flashes. Tried 2 bulbs in case that was the issue. Replacement ordered.
