Review: quiet, dreamy, and contemplative - BEAUTIFUL deck - I can't say enough about this deck of cards- they are all so *beautiful*. The women featured throughout (it's primarily women for all cards) just speak to me in a way that no other tarot/oracle deck has before. I'm very shy, very quiet, and a bit of an introvert and I can relate strongly to the imagery on this deck. You know how some oracle/Tarot decks have the figure posed in the deck in the exact center, with arms open towards the viewer, sort of beckoning them forward? This deck is not like that- it's like the artist caught these women unaware, in a moment of contemplation. I know this all sounds kooky, but I'm trying to express the thoughtful, quiet beauty of this deck. The colors are muted (like a foggy fall/winter day on the shore) but rich, the women are varied in their representation (no romance novel bosoms and muscular men in this deck, which is a big plus for me) and while the cards are fairly true to the origins of tarot imagery, the artist has done such a beautiful job of representing each card. I wish Kwon Shina would just keeping illustrating endless decks and books because the art on this deck is just perfection for me, as far as decks go. I'm a Buddhist and primarily use these cards as both a way to gain insight (I match the traditional meanings of each card with a major theme in Buddhism- for example justice=karma, the wheel of fortune=dependent origination, devil=attachment and self-grasping existence, the chariot=impulse vs. right action, etc.) into my practice and also a way to spark something for deeper motivation and meditation, but as an art historian, I love reading cards intuitively as well- seeing if something in the image might spark something in me that resonates. These cards are so perfect for that. The readings I have done with the deck have been very spot on- the first card I drew was the Tower, which i, traditionally, NOT a good card, but we had just gone through a MAJOR hurricane, one of our pets had been diagnosed with cancer, and so it was spot on. The accompanying cards gave me some food for thought about the situation which helped shift my perspective from complete overwhelmed to trying to make sense of everything and taking it all one moment at a time. And I didn't walk away from that experience with negativity towards the deck because the imagery and the energy of the deck is really subtle and insightful, without being sweet, innocent, or kitschy. The LWB it comes with is just a few pieces of paper stapled together (if you're new to tarot you'll want a better guide, but it'll start you off) and the tuck box is flimsy and won't last. I had a hard time getting the cards back into the box the very first time I used them. This deck REALLY deserves a nicer treatment- I'd love to see a fully done guidebook with some insight on the artist and the creator's inspirations and ideas for each of the cards. Even better, if they published a full size, full-color "Art of Dreaming Way" book, I'd buy it in a heartbeat and look at it all the time. I'm trying to express the gentle, quiet, dreamy, contemplative nature of this deck and I'm not doing a good job. It's just *the* deck for me and I can't recommend it enough. Review: A Fun, Beautiful and Inspiring Deck - I bonded right away with this deck. I own several tarot card decks, most of which are made by U.S. Games, a company that never fails to deliver on quality. For me, the card stock is just right, neither so flimsy that it tears or rips after a few shuffles nor so thick that it would be difficult to shuffle. Instead, I find that these lovely cards are just right. And this particular deck has some wonderful and whimsical art to help the reader to go deeper into the card reading. It basically follows Rider-Waite yet with some interesting variations here and there. Personally, I like the subtle variations; it is why I own several decks. My only complaint is that I wish the artists would have included some more people of color. The artist does make reference to living in Korea, and some of the people in the cards do have an Asian appearance; however, most people in the deck appear to be Caucasian. Nonetheless, this is a deck that manages to pull off being both fun yet insightful. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase.

A Fun, Beautiful and Inspiring Deck
I bonded right away with this deck. I own several tarot card decks, most of which are made by U.S. Games, a company that never fails to deliver on quality. Soft and dreamy tarot energy
This deck is more for people familiar with the tarot images. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners because the images could be a bit difficult to interpret. Nonetheless, this is one of my favorite tarot decks! The images provoke a lot of subconscious messages and it takes you into it's own little world. It's dreamy, artsitic, whimsical, and very honest. This deck has some sass to it lol but also the guidebook is very helpful. I love this deck because it gives you various meanings of the cards you wouldn't normally think of. I resonate well this deck and am so happy I have it in my collection!

Love it
I love U.S Games cardstock, with only a couple of deck exceptions, their cards are sturdy and moderately heavy without being too heavy or cardboard-like. They don’t have an intense gloss, though they do have a slight shine that I would describe as semi-gloss, which I like as it protects the cards without being overly glossy. The images on these cards are beautiful and excepting one or two cards I absolutely love this deck and the imagery and symbolism used. This is definitely an RWS deck and the traditional symbolism is there if you need that for reading. I highly recommend this deck, but buy something to keep the cards in. When I got my deck, the box was so tight I couldn’t get them out without opening the bottom and pushing them up gently so I could grasp them from the other end and pull them out. We didn’t want to risk dinging my cards trying to get them back into a box where the fit was spanx-tight. To protect the cards Ive wrapped them in a hand-dyed cotton handkerchief and put them in a drawstring bag to protect them. This is a lovely deck, I highly recommend it. (The cardstock isn’t crap, I’ve been reading tarot with my mom since I was a kiddo in the 90’s)

These have become my favorite go-to cards at home.
I have mostly pocket size decks and tins, because of their ability to be easily shuffled by people with delicate hands. This is the first 5 inch deck that I've bought that I can comfortably shuffle. I got turned on to these cards from watching my favorite reader use these. I put them on my wishlist, I am not disappointed. The art on the cards I really like, like I said someone exposed me to these and I loved them. Now these aren't just pretty cards for me, they are my go to deck. If you are a new person who is trying to learn, get a classic PCS/Rider-Waite first. But if you got the hang of reading and want something much more personal, if you like the art on them, and want to know if they are worth it, these have my endorsement. The backs in my opinion are very good looking and remind me of frogs, even though there are no frogs anywhere on them, the color is what does it for me. I have absolutely no problem with everything card being women or girls, as I love women in my life. My taste in cards is a little bit classic but if you like a classic, these can easily be one.

I love the graphics of this deck.
Because I always appreciate a little smaller deck, I trimmed this one into the perfect size for me. The imagery is right up my alley, and I always look forward to using it, especially now that it is a bit smaller. The pictures really pop now, and the colors are soothing. Based on the Rider Waite deck, it is easy to read. The colors are soothing and reminiscent of a softer pallet. There are also no naked people with these cards which I like, as it works well for all kinds of situations and ages. This is one of my favorites, which is saying something as I have quite a few.

and it continues to be my favorite. The dreamy
I learned to read tarot with this deck, and it continues to be my favorite. The dreamy, whimsical artwork called to me immediately, and I knew this would be the right one for me. Besides the gorgeous art, I really love the philosophy the author Rome Choi has, which is more about contentment and playing an active role in your own personal growth. This I feel shows in the meanings given in the little white book, while still being very much a Rider Waite based deck. One card that initially stumped me was the Three of Pentacles, but I have come to understand it after doing enough readings. Reading with this deck is great, the cards really come together to tell a story. I find they really interact with each other, and do well with larger spreads. Personally I decided to remove the borders, and I found it really made the art and colors pop.

Very nice well made deck
I have seen this deck or and on for sometime. For some reason I was hesitant. I can't really site a specific reason, just personal preferences. I received this item today and am very pleased I made the purchase. They are made well but the other reviews are correct about the box size barely accommodating the cards once the wrap is removed. The little booklet will not fit back in there at all. However I really enjoy the art and symbols used. A new perspective with out getting too far off the beaten path. I do not think anyone would be disappointed with this purchase and they will take some use and be around awhile since the card stock it good! Which is why they do not fit so easily back in the box. That is an exchange I am ok with!!

One of my favorite decks! Standard size. Perfect paper quality, firm, good to shuffle. Images are so lovely I couldn’t pass by. I purchased Chinese small size copy and decided to buy original deck. I highly recommend.

Beautiful good quality cards <3
I ordered the cards yesterday and received them today. I love the illustrations. Very dreamy and whimsical. The quality of the cards are good. It shuffles well. I'd say a little thin but doesn't bother me. on the contrary makes the suffering smoother. The only thing I didn't like is the cardboard box it came in. It was hard to put them back in. So, I am going to design them a dedicated ceramic box and use he extra cards in the deck as the design on the ceramic box. Overall, in love with this new deck and definitely recommend getting them.

Appena ho visto questo mazzo me ne sono subito innamorata! I disegni sono meravigliosi, onirici e dolci proprio come il nome suggerisce, la qualità delle carte è buona e la consegna è stata effettuata nei tempi previsti.
