Doesn't stand up on end
Good size bag but does not stand up on its own, so a bit of a pain while traveling with dive gear.

Nice until zipper broke
It’s a fairly nice back. But the zippers need upgrades. Side zipper broke before I even left the house for my trip. Also no lock hole on the zippers to secure for travel.

great dive bag
Excellent bag. Can carry all my gear in one spot. Easy to organize from the top loader. At first, I didn't like how my fins didn't fit in the side zipper pouch. But after adjusting to my gear and utilizing the space best I was able to stack my fins on either side of my BCD with my reg/octo/computer bag and dive camera bag in between the fins for protection. Tons of space to fit multiple neoprene suits of various sizes if necessary. Top load straps are an incredible must. Sometimes I only use half the bag depending on dive location and gear needed. The strap tie downs tighten all of your gear down maintaining it's location and protecting the gear inside your bag. Very impressed and will use this bag a bunch. No signs of durability issues. Has been on multiple planes, through many countries.

Plastic parts don't hold up
The zippers on this bag leave a lot to be desired. I'm getting ready to head out on my first dive trip with the bag and the zipper on the fin pocket has popped out. I think it's a plastic piece that pulls the zipper together. The bag seems nice overall. I bought the bag for a trip to Australia in 6 weeks but I'm afraid the bag might not hold up.i will update this review after my trip. Not sure what to do about the zipper!

Cheap Garbage!!!!
The bag is cheap garbage!!! Pocket for fins is to small for two xl fins. Zipper broke packing for first dive trip. I ended up having to go and just grabbed a duffel bag with wheels the same size for $48 at Walmart for my trip worked great and didn’t break. I would suggest doing the same over paying all that cash for this piece of garbage.

Tusa dive bag
I initially ordered a Mares bag based on several factors one of which was the weight. Listed as less then 7 pounds on site. When it arrived it was obviously much heavier & weighed way too much for international travel where in Asia you have a 20kg first bag free & then $15 per kilo out of Thailand (cost me almost $500 in overweight charges) another story don't trust Air Asia. I sent the Mares bag back because of the weight only. It is a very well thought out bag and if I was not using it for air travel I would have kept the bag. I then ordered the Tusa which is a very well constructed duffel bag but that is all it is just a duffel bag. The bag is very good but dollar for dollar the Mares is the far superior bag. They cost essentially the same but you get so much more with the Mares bag including more weight. Problem with Mares bag is it weights way too much but well worth the money if you don't use it for air travel. The Tusa bag is a fine duffel bag but it is just overpriced compared to the Mares. The bag survived Dallas Seoul Phuket Hong Kong Bali Seoul Dallas. It will hold much more then allowed by the airlines and is well constructed. No problem with the bag. Would buy it again keeping in mind it is a expensive duffel bag. Price needs to be adjusted down
