It's good but not great
Good concept and does work to some degree but not as good to clean as I expected. It is quite flimsy and is wearing out through cleaning after about 4 uses. However it wasn't that expensive and has saved a lot of hard work cleaning the BBQ at the end of the evening when you just want to go to bed. Will try another make next time though.

Have used these abroad on BBQs so wanted to buy ...
Have used these abroad on BBQs so wanted to buy one for home. This one is a bit thin and started degrading after first use. Does seem a lot thinner than the one I used on holiday.

Hot plate liner a must for BBQ very little cleaning
This was recommended to me by a friend, so I hade prior knowledge about the product, it works very well.Living in Cyprus we have a lot of BBQ's, with a lot of people, with the hotplate liner it is easy to remove, put a clean one on so no contamination of meats or flavours.

Liner not really what I imaged
Delivery was fine,I don't think I could use it on the BBQ,the direct heat would not be successful also I'm not sure I could use on the smoker.

No melting and well cooked food.
Wow, quite frankly an outstanding product.A bit of a strange delivery though, wrapped in a bit of cling film and then put in a plastic parcel... no additional information or packaging, so it htorugh me when it came through the post, as it was not really what i was expecting.Anyway, after spending many hours cleaning the grates on my barbeque after doing some pretty funky marinades which sticks like... well it sticks a lot and burns to a lovely charcoal black, i decided to try this out.I was worried that it was just going to melt away, but o my delight, it cooked my chicken (non marinaded, as I got the wrong sort - drumsticks instead of breast, but hey ho). I cooked it brilliantly, and left plenty of caramelisation on the chicken as if it was directly on the grill. It took the direct flame like a trooper, and then it was onto the heavily marinaded chinese ribs, which left nigh on no mark at all on the liner. After it had cooled, into the sink for a quick wash, and then up on the washing line for a dry, and it is good as new.Outstanding, i am really pleased with it.

Not suited to all.
Read a few reviews which persuaded me to take a chance with this. Unfortunately in combination with my brick built barbecue it could not cope with the intense heat and unbeknown to me while in the house the meat fats caught fire and damaged the liner. Just did not suit my barbecue.

Fantastic!
Bought one of these and I'm just in the process of buying two more. I used on my George Foreman Grill which had lost its non stick despite working perfectly. I lay on the bottom grill and place the food and lay the top half on the food then close the lid....I have the bottom half hanging over the edge to keep the lower grill lip clean, but because the fats pool at the bottom I now fold a kitchen towel in double twice and put at the bottom before closing the lid...it does not burn the paper towel but the towel absorbs all the fat and the grill is 100% clean afterwards. At the weekend we used on top of an electric BBQ and I cant say how well it worked...in between each lot of meat I used kitchen towel using the BBQ tongs and mopped up the fats leaving it clean as a whistle for the next batch.Washes easy and we hang to dry using a plastic Asda trouser hanger with the 2 x spring clips at each end.Looks like it will last years as well :-)
