First off let's get one thing clear, no smokeless ashtray of this level is truly smokeless. What this ashtray does is eliminates the passive smoke emitting off a cigarette at rest on the ashtray or held near. For complete discretion you need a smoke exhaler filter (ex. Smoke Buddy) as this ashtray is capable of grabbing smoke from its own general parameter and isn't a big powerful fan where it's gonna pull in an entire exhalation of smoke, at least not immediately. It's a small electric ashtray and not a room air circulator. Keeping that in mind here's why I give it 5-stars. This ashtray is cleverly designed. It as a slot for a perfume tablet (1 is provided) which mixes with the filtered air exiting the machine. When the lid is put on there's a cutout in the center where the machine's intake is exposed, so after a smoking session the lid can be put on and the machine left turned on to perfume freshen the room afterwards with the ash ugliness hidden. It's also an attractive machine and presentable on tables or bars. The ashtray portion is also very convenient to remove and empty or clean. I've also been very happy with the length of charge. It'll easily last a gathering without needing plugging in. It's also not quiet but it's not loud and ends up out of mind when talking or any ambient sounds are happening. For the price, build and design it gets my recommendation.

The advertisement is misleading- item DOES NOT WORK FOR INTENDED USE. The tray itself should be aluminum or metal of some kind- NOT PLASTIC

Do not buy this I bought three of them. They only work for a couple of weeks and then will not charge.
