A few days ago, I put the glass under the spout and while the espresso was filling the cup I heard a funny sound and when I went to stir in the honey I realized that the cup has cracked and shattered on the inside. When I tried to request a refund today, the return window had closed yesterday. This was really unfortunate. I am still going to call Amazon to see if they will give a refund anyway since it's only one day after the expiration. These cups are too expensive to just lose money. Although I love the espresso machine, the quality of the cups are not as good.

When you first pick up any double-walled borosilicate glass container, you'll immediately notice how light in the hand it feels compared to regular glass. They seem so fragile (especially the thin handles), but they are not since this type of glass is very resistant to thermal expansion, unlike typical glass.This larger-than-average two-finger glass mug holds a good amount of my morning joe and looks good doing it. The L'OR emblem adds a touch of elegance. However, that makes this glassware hand-wash only because dishwasher detergent will eventually destroy or degrade that logo. These mugs are otherwise dishwasher safe. FYI, these arrived in a nondescript boring brown box without any care instructions.By the way, the heat retention for these types of mugs is essentially marketing-speak unless they come with a cover. My coffee cooled faster in this mug than my trusty decade-old plastic Canadian Tim Horton's double-walled mug, even without its travel cover.If you have one of the company's coffee makers, this will be a perfect complement to it. These seem to be the average price for this type of mug, although I quickly found others for up to $10 less online from US-based home goods retailers. Others from niche coffee stores often cost much more.My rating system:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value!4 Stars = Excellent product. I don’t have a L’or brewer but these mugs are still good for more than coffee. They are fine for tea as well. A Keurig works well. With the double wall construction, the liquid inside stays warm longer. Despite their thin walls, the borosilicate glass should be sturdy enough to withstand regular use. The upper rack of the dishwasher should be safe to use.In case you wish to heat up the liquid further, you may be tempted to use a microwave oven. I did not see any mention in the product description. With the metallic logo, I thought that the microwave may be problematic. Indeed, I could see tiny flashes of light on the logo when the microwave was started. Therefore, I would not recommend putting these into a microwave oven.

I really like these coffee mugs, especially how light weight, easy to hold. This only problem i had was that with one of my coffee warmers it goes on and off when you take the cup off, but with this cup being so light weight i wont even register that there is a cup sitting on the warmer. I have no other complaints, i just went and got one of my other coffee warmers. The are beautiful design, easy to hold and make a great gift for that coffee lover in your life.

These are very nice sized coffee mugs. They are double walled and well insulated. The coffee stays hot longer than with a regular mug, but there is still a lot of surface area at the top and the coffee still cools down. The handle feels thinner than those on a ceramic mug, but that is a feature, not a problem. My only gripe is that the lip is rather wide. It feels weird to my mouth, but I guess I'll adjust.

Imagine a wine glass. This glass is as light as a wine glass. One of the glasses don't sit level on the counter. It wobbles a bit. Having a light glass to hold is nice. I like it. But when I put it in the dishwasher to wash, I make sure nothing heavy is around it.

Nice mugs that match my coffee maker. Keeps coffee hot for a while compared to regular cups. The look is nice and elegant. The glass seems well crafted and they are just perfect for me!
