Installed into a Proxmox server and passed through to a Plex VM for transcoding. Card works great for small numbers of concurrent transcodes, doesn't require an extra power connection, and Promox has drivers for it. Definately worth the price over something like a p4000.

I currently shoot real estate video in 4k 4:2:2 10-bit HEVC and my computer prior to this gpu was stuttering and freezing like crazy. Plop this sucker into my extra pcie slot and installed drivers. Boom Instant relief in Davinci Resolve studio. I mean it’s absolutely insane how well this works. Props intel, props. 10/10 will buy again Edit: It is 1/23/2024 and I have since upgraded my computer and I noticed I didn't list my previous specs 🤦 Old setup: Ryzen 7 5800X 32gb DDR4 3200/CL16 ASRock B550M Pro4 RX 6900 XT sold for $500 and bought a RTX 3090 FE $600 New setup Ryzen 9 7900X Asus ROG Strix B650E-F G.Skill Flare X5 6000MHz/CL30 nVidia RTX 3090 FE ASRock Intel Arc A310 Samsung 990 Pro Western Digital SN770 Crucial BX500 EVGA GQ850w PSU All in all, this little GPU has performed wonders. I am quite curious about how much better the performance would be if I had a motherboard with 2 PCIe slots connected straight to the CPU. In my application only the first slot is CPU-connected, the other 3 slots are ran through the chipset. From my understanding it could possibly be causing the occasional 3-5 second pause while working on the timeline. None the less, for $120, this 20w GPU is saving my butt time after time. I do want to upgrade to the A380 or the A580 but we'll see in the future

This card was used in my latest home server/NAS build. Its great if you need something that can handle several 4k transcoding streams without slowdown

I used this in a budget PC build for my GF so we could play games together. It can even handle titles it's not quite rated for.

Works great. I use this for transcoding on emby. It's very low power, fits into my small micro PC. Do not at all use it for games, just transcoding. If you're looking for something for handbrake, plex, emby, jellyfin, this thing is great.

I really was looking forward to using this but alas, I was hampered by the SFF PC and the fact that it had the PCIE slot at the bottom that only allows for single slot cards. While this card is advertised as a Low Profile, be aware that it is still classed as a double thickness device, meaning that it will occupy the same size as 2 cards. So bummed as to this but it is what it is and I have to return, otherwise it appears to be a great variant of the A310 compared to others.

I run a media server. This card can decode 4K HDR content, tonemap it to SDR, and re-encode it to H264, all at over 150FPS. It's actually insane. Remember, all Arc cards have the exact same video encoder onboard, so there's really no reason to buy a higher end one if you plan to just use it for video encode / decode or a media server. But I do highly recommend you enable resizeable BAR in your BIOS. It adds a significant performance bump.

Out of all the video cards I've purchased, I can't believe this can't display default text or basic UEFI images. How am I supposed to work on my machine? Plug in another video card to adjust my BIOS settings and then go back to this card? I'm just shocked at how poorly implemented this card is on the ASRock site. I plugged this into 3 different computers. After I let it sit for 15 minutes on the last one, did it load the driver and provide an out of range indication because it wouldn't display on a 1920x1200 monitor. I plugged it into a 1920x1080 and it finally worked. Driver is all up to date and I plugged back into the 1920x1200 monitor and IT DOESN'T WORK, really? I can't even comprehend why it can't accommodate a 16:10. I give up.

Excelente opción para transcodificar en formato AV1 por un precio que ninguna opción de NVIDIA es capaz de ofrecer. La metí en un servidor antiquísimo (771, DDR2) que no cuenta con resizable bar y funciona bien igualmente. Jellyfin transcodifica AV1 1080p a unos 50 FPS, y H265 4K a 100 y poco. Además, este modelo en particular no hace prácticamente ruido, ya que los ventiladores raramente se ponen en marcha (no les hace falta, ya que no se calienta mucho). No podría estar más contento con la compra

Using Linux Kernel 6.6+, this is a GREAT choice for hardware acceleration. Extremely pleased with the performance this card provides.

Not great at all! I received a faulty card and the warranty process has been long and lengthy with no resolution in sight. Also besides that, this card has terrible value for this obscene price. As I understand, most people purchase this to add to their SFF PC or some previous HP or Dell OptiPlexs to add gaming power. However, there are way better option; you can find a 3050 6GB for less than this price and the performance is way better! Even alternatives like A380 (better for PLex server too) and RX 6400 are worth looking into it before deciding on this card. I hope this is of help to you 🙏

認識、動作、画質など万全なのですが、インテルのサイトからドライバーをダウンロードして使おうとすると、インストーラーが上手く機能しません。全部がダメなのではなく、インストール操作の終了が出来ない状態です。推定するに、ドライバ本体には全く問題が無く、一緒にインストールされるユーティリティ類が何か非互換なのかと思ってます。 環境は、11世代CPU/H510のAsus、以上！ですので、特殊な周辺機器が一切ない状態でこれです。ほぼ同じドライバを使うiGPUの状態ではインストール作業は完遂出来ますので、このdGPUの癖と相性の問題でしょう。
