Desk & Table Lamp with Flexible Gooseneck - Clip On Clamp Lamp with Flexible Neck for Reading, Hobby, Work & Task

This lamp was perfect for my needs. It is not a budget light, but I guess you get what you pay for. ☺️. The lamp is bright, very bright. The gooseneck is quite heavy and holds the lamp pretty firmly in place. The finish on the lamp is very nice, brushed steel, smooth as silk. The lighting is just so good. I am a calligrapher, so excellent lighting is a “must” for me. Prior to this lamp, I actually had 3 small lamps on my desk to provide the light I needed and to eliminate shadows from my “writing hand”. This light absolutely floods my entire desktop with awesome white light, and is twice as effective as all of the desk lamps I was using. The clamp design allows me to keep my desktop clean and free of clutter. My only nitpick about this light is the switch…it’s location as well as the type of switch it is (a stiff “push” switch that is not convenient to access, and its location has a tendency to change the “placement” of the lamp because it is on a “gooseneck” setup). Even so, I would buy this light again, as this small aggravation is not a deal-breaker at this point. My worry is that the switch will fail at some point, and this does not appear to be a switch that can be replaced. My other worry is that the gooseneck will lose its “holding power” over time, and the lamp may start to “droop” from the weight of the LED unit on the end of it. It does “stay in place” as of now, but it does seem to struggle a bit with the weight, and the lamp is, after all, brand new…if the rigidity/holding power of the gooseneck degrades, that will be a problem. But as of now, it is sufficient, and the switch issue is really not a problem as of now…so I’ll go with 5 stars. (I don’t feel right about shaving off stars for “what might happen”.) 😁. As of now, it is a great lamp that exceeds my expectations.

The varied light value that you can get works really well it’s long enough that it covers my paint surface evenly and I don’t seem to get a glare. Bravo.

The light spreads well and casts soft shadows. Installation was easy, and it looks sleek in my minimal studio setup.Unfortunately, it started hurting my eyes almost immediately after turning it on.I checked for flickering using my phone’s camera and didn’t detect any, so that doesn’t seem to be the cause.It’s possible that the 6000K color temperature was simply too intense for me.I didn’t initially make the connection between my eye strain and this lamp, so I missed the return window.I’m writing this in hopes that it might help others like me—so you can consider this factor carefully before deciding to keep it. :)I am very sad to throw this near $200 lamp away... :(

So I originally bought this light at an Art Supply Store. It had a 2 year warranty and claimed 50,000 hrs on the bulb. If my math is right that would mean the bulb burning for 24 hrs a day for 5 years. After only a year and a half with not a ton of use the thing stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer they replied very promptly asking for a copy of my receipt and the batch number on the light. They immediately shipped me out a brand new light and didn't even ask that I return the defective one. Because of their excellent customer service and no hassle warranty I bought a 2nd light for our mountain cabin. In addition I really like this product.

And that's what I did. Gave as a gift to my professional artist wife. It replaced an older one she had and she loves it.

Very well made, easy to assemble. You can attach to your easel or table. Light is bright and the ‘shade’ rotates to adjust the light angle.

I received the light today. The brightness of the light is superb; however the base is cheaply made. The base immediately broke when I tried to attach it to my table. I’m very disappointed and plan to return it.

Flimsy . The clamp is too weak.
