My daughter has extremely thick, wavy, waist length hair. Unfortunately lice seem to love her (her sister with short, fine, straight hair never seems to get them). I’m generally pretty good at detection combing but there have been a couple of times when I’ve lapsed and she’s ended up with an infestation. I’ve tried nitty gritty, nitnot, and various cheaper alternatives. Nothing lifted the lice out as effectively as these combs. Yes, it takes ages and you have to follow the instructions to the letter, but this system will work and is chemical free. The instructions are very clear, telling you when and how to comb. Read carefully and follow them to the letter. It takes several sessions but if you are diligent you will clear them and the plastic combs are much gentler than the metal ones. Good luck!!

If you're looking at these wondering if they're worth the money, then YES yes they bloody are, they will save your sanity and de-bug you from the hell that is nits. For the past week I've used Hedryl, Vamoosh and Full Marks. I found eggs, but no nits. My head was itching so bad I got up at 2am one day, but couldn't find anything. You start to wonder if you're going mad. Then today these arrived and within minutes it had plucked out a good handful of nits and eggs. Admittedly, my head is red raw from the scraping, but boy do they work. They are the only product i have confidence in, cannot recommend enough. Also, the combs are in bright colours so you can see the bugs - good idea.

This only had instructions in French despite the writing on the box being in English.

A handy set of combs to comb out the little critters. Just apply conditioner and comb out over the sink. No toxic chemicals.

Comes with multiple combs and are great. The purple comb is one of the most effective combs I have ever come across. My daughters school has reoccurring nits and lice but this kit helps keep it in check for easy removal. Forget the formulas this is better with the combination of conditioner.

No chemicals (which hadnt eorked anyway when we did resort to them) Much better at educating us all at what to look for and how they survive etc. Different sized combs for different stages. Okay-took longer (daughter has v long thick hair) but chemicals didnt work, way cheaper and weve all used

THESE COMBS ARE TERRIBLE, THEY SCRATHED CUT AND HURT MY SCALP VERY SORE.THEY ALSO BROKE,WHEN USING THEM. THEY ARE NOT AS EFFECTIVE AS ADVERTISED.DO NOT BUY THESE AND USE THEM ON YOURSELF OR YOUR CHILDREN..

To be honest, we used the combs and ended up not finding any lice! But I have thick hair and lots of it and combing through the conditioner with all the different sized combs has made my hair the silkiest and shiniest it’s ever been! Usually straighten it but didn’t have to bother! Would recommend even if just from a vanity perspective :D
