Nice fit but
These are nice looking boots, comfortable and fit well. But, after having them only two months, they started to come apart. Since my return window has closed, I'm going to have to glue them together. I probably wouldn't buy these boots again. I have two other pairs of boots bought from Amazon (different company) that have endured well over many more months.

Watch the size.
Well, made and nice looking, but order a size larger than your actual size.

Price is right!
2017 update:I wear these often. A thick sock insert from Dollar Tree is all I needed to make these great boots. Camping, hiking, or just a hard work day. I like these very much. Right boot for the right price.2015 original:Put the price together with 2 day shipping and this is a great purchase. After the second day on the camp site my feet began to hurt. The bottoms are pretty stiff. Next time I will use some soft sock liners. I will update this review at that time.

Was it dumb? Probably
I have never owned dedicated hiking shoes. I purchased these last week, received them Wednesday, and backpacked 50 lbs 5 miles in last Friday. Was it dumb? Probably.Do I have blisters? Yes.Were these shoes somehow still pretty comfortable? Also yes.Honestly, I didn't even get close to what I deserved for packing in 25% of my bodyweight the first time I wore these things. The fact I wasn't more torn up indicates the quality of fit these exhibit. Pretty lightweight, probably not 100% waterproof but a bit resistant for sure. At the price point, I don't know that you'll find a significantly better shoe.

One of the shoelace loops broke first time
One of the shoelace loops broke first time I put them on. Looks like a defect where it did not get sewn right so the end pulled out of the stitching. I was able to sew it myself though. Otherwise they are good boots. Comfortable and needed little breaking in.
