good
The media could not be loaded. Bought a pair of heated socks with built-in rechargeable 6000mAh lithium batteries, and they have been a game-changer for my dad during this cold weather. These socks come with a smartphone app that allows him to control the temperature settings and set timers to ensure his feet stay warm and cozy.As someone who deals with arthritis issues and is particularly sensitive to the cold, these heated socks have been a lifesaver for him. They provide consistent warmth, which helps alleviate the discomfort associated with cold temperatures. The convenience of adjusting the temperature and setting timers through the app makes them even more user-friendly.These heated socks have quickly become a must-have for him during the winter months. They offer not only warmth and comfort but also the ability to customize the heat settings to my preference. If you're someone who struggles with the cold or has specific heating needs, these socks are a fantastic solution.

Doesn't work without APP
The item doesn't seem to work without an APP. And nothing in the box suggests what app to use. Can someone please give the name of the app or the QR code for the app?

Be careful when storing or charging. almost caught fire!
I have used these for a couple weeks while winter cycling in New England. The bottom line, they work. almost too well. I wonder if I have a faulty pair, because I cant run them on anything past low or my feet get too hot, to the point of discomfort. the real issue I had was storing, or charging. You can not leave the batteries plugged into the socks. ever.there is a power button on the battery. it should be labeled "useless" because you can trigger them through the APP even when manually turned off. and if they accidently turn on....they default to HIGH and get extremely hot. I was charging them at work and they literally almost caught fire, and after a couple hours, even while on the charger the batteries were dead.I was also charging them overnight recently and was pretty positive they were off.. and went to grab them to cycle, and one battery was mysteriously dead.lesson learned. never keep them plugged in unless you want heat. make sure you check the charge levels well before you plan to use them.only giving a star because they do actually heat up... just be careful.

Battery time is lacking
The app needed is kinda hard to use and says more features are available if you register with their app. But the registration process won't let me finish it. The battery doesn't last super long even at a lower setting. It didn't do very well at 3:30am on the shores of lake Huron fishing.

UPDATE: Very comfortable, heats well; removed a star for a dead battery after 3 months
UPDATE TO MY UPDATE: I have worn these daily for the past 3 months, including standing at a crosswalk 2x/day for up to 40 minutes at a time in snow and ice. They have kept my feet toasty until recently. I thought I had a dead sock, but it appears to be one of the batteries either not connecting or just sorta dead (the green light indicates that it's charged, but it's not heating). I paid $60, and the socks are now $20, so I'm debating on purchasing another pair or a new battery, whichever is the cheaper option. We're having 4 seasons in one day right now while transitioning to spring, so I still need toasty toes for a few more weeks.UPDATE: Thought I would add an update after wearing the socks almost constantly for the past several days. I have Raynaud's that causes my fingers and toes to lose circulation and sensation pretty quickly when cold. Even with the socks turned off (no heat), my feet stay warmer than when wearing sock liners and thick wool socks! The socks are thin enough that I can comfortably wear them with all my winter shoes. They heat so quickly and efficiently that I only turn them on for 10-15 minutes at a time. BONUS is the iPhone app! A QR code in the sock package links to the app (with poor reviews). However, the app connects to the sock batteries without an account (the reason for the reviews), so I can easily control the socks without pulling up my pants leg. The app is basic but does the job. BTW, I have worn them while taking the dogs out for morning walks in 20 degree weather and been very comfortable!ORIGINAL: I'm not sure what's going on with the reviews. Over 5k and only one (in English) about the heated socks, and the video & pics for that single review don't match the picture (what I received). All the other reviews are for motor oil! However, I'll add my two cents on the heated socks that are pictured in the listing. They are extremely comfortable, with flat-felled seams that hug my feet rather than rubbing. They didn't come with instructions but are pretty self-explanatory, although the power button on the battery is a little tricky (took several long pushes to make the 1-2-3 red lights appear to adjust the temp). They are very warm in my hiking boots; sitting inside, my feet are very comfy at the lowest setting, and I'll try them out in the morning when the temp is in the mid-20s here. The heated zone seems to evenly cover the sole of my forefoot to my toes, and I can't feel the wires. I reviewed a cheaper heated sock that I had to return because the seams were terrible, but I can see comfortably hiking in these socks or standing around at outdoor events for several hours.

App doesn’t work, no temperature control
The socks work good and the app connected right away but no matter what temperature you set it at in the app, it goes to high and that’s 180 degrees or more. Feels like it leaves burns on the bottom of the foot where the heating element is.
