My 2000 Excursion hates when it's cold lately It has 246K miles and would run really rough till it warmed up, I put less then the recommended dose in as it is full of oil and only half way to the next change. It fired up like normal missing on a few injectors. Before I made it out of the neighborhood it had smoothed out all the injectors were firing as they should and it ran great. It was a short trip to the store and I cooled back off while I was inside, fired right back up and idled smoother then it has in a while. Not saying my injectors don't need replaced eventually, but this was amazing to say the least.

My 2003 7.3L with now 240K mile with me being the 3rd owner.. First and second owners were friends and many service records were passed down.. Far i am aware the injectors are original..I have been using Hotshots EDT since the week i got truck with 163K miles. PO did not mention anything about running any sort of additive feel sure he did not or the other owner that got truck new.I usually run delo 15w40 and walmart supertech when delo was out.. truck starts up after WTS light goes out in like 2-3 seconds of turning key to start..When i did the oil change we were in area near Fargo ND for harvest job,, sugar beets.. that usually runs from oct 1 to later part so weather is cool but not cold. towards the end which was pushed to oct 23 the weather had turned with some nice cold in the 17s at night.. I was able to get some 150 or so miles on the treated oil before it got super cold.. without plugging in truck it seem to start a bit quicker,, I count one thousand one, one thousand two and it was starting in some cold temps below 32 deg F..As for as sound it appears to be the same but my truck was quiet, for a 7.3, due to other mod to oil cross over, installing back fuel port on driver side head to help with #8 noise etc.I was more impressed with the speed of starting in some cold temps.. Now with more than 2K miles the start is almost instant in cold, 35 deg. temps..So i guess my injectors for 260 plus K miles are in good shape. We run a lot of TA, Petro, Loves truck stop fuels which and have different degrees of Bio diesel in them with our diesel discount card from myopenroads dot com..so far so good for me. I will only do this the one time for now in oil. seem to be doing its job highly recommend.

I really appreciate this product and find it to be fairly priced. However, I did notice that my recent shipment arrived without a cap. Thankfully, the aluminum safety seal prevented any leaks or spills, but including a cap in future shipments would greatly enhance the overall experience. Thank you!

I use this every time I change my oil it helps the engine preforms better as well as lubricating and cleaning the inside of the motor this helped with engine tick and really brought my truck back to life after years and years of just doing oil changes. This product is a game changer and hot shots is all I run due to all the science behind all their productss.
