This is a great candle by Salt & Stone. It is made of a natural soy wax and coconut blend with a single 100% cotton wick. I ordered the fig & violet and I really love it. It's a really unique smooth clean intoxicating scent. have it in my average-sized room and after a while the scent carries throughout. It is a mild understated smell and not at all overpowering. It came in a simple clean black box and the vessel itself is also a simple clean look. At only 8.5 oz the price is quite steep but the quality is unquestionable and probably produced in small batches. I am very happy I took the plunge and ordered it. One of my favorites.

Looks luxurious but I was hoping for the candle to be the outstanding Parr. The fragrance is very light, it was halfway through before I noticed a faint citrus smell. Perhaps the room was too big but regardless I wish it would have been stronger. It also doesn't come with a lid so if you blow it out the fragrance that is in the room will disappear from the smell of the distinguished wick....which is what I did! The candle did burn evenly but it does get a high flame so be careful where you put it. Overall I wasn't that pleased.

I like this candle for it's subtle earthy tones. The fig and violet scents are soft but not so soft they you can't smell them. I don't like candles that are very overpowering and dominate a space. I want them to just kind of be there when I need them to make my home smell nice. I feel like that's what I'm getting from this candle. Now, I boasts a 50+ hours burn time. I'm not sure if that's the case. I burn it for a little while when I get home from work. So far it has definitely outlasted other candles that I have used...so 50 hours might be pretty accurate. I really like this candle and will likely try some of the other scents available.

If you're going to spend 50 bucks on a candle, you want it to feel like a 50 dollar candle, and this one really, really does. It smells increddddddible. It's a strong and yet subtle scent - I'm not quite sure how that's possible but it is - and it makes me instantly feel like I'm at a spa. The candle itself is so cool looking, the logo design is modern and funky, the glass container is nicely made, and overall it just looks expensive - which again, if you're going to spend 50 bucks on a candle, you want it to look like you spent 50 bucks. I'm only giving it a 4/5 for value for money because I wish it was a little big bigger for the price. But if you're into candles and looking for a splurge to instantly transport you to a spa, this one is worth it.
