Good stuff. Needed a good flushing but not as much as most. Small enough to easily plant into and hold the plant. Smooth enough not to hurt corydoras barbles. Lose enough to be a good bio medium. Keeps my pH stable at 6.4. Plants do well but I do add ferts, especially iron. I can't speak to endurance as I've only had it 3 months but I'm very happy with it as a relatively inexpensive expert Active planting substrate. NB it's only worth paying thist kind of price for substrate if you need a stable acidic environment for your fish or Caradina shrimp. Don't expect it to work for ever, especially if you're adding water high in carbonate hardness. The higher your kh, the sooner the substrate will become exhausted and stop maintaining a lower pH. And obviously don't use it if you want to maintain a neutral or higher pH and or hardness, for say, neocaridina shrimp guppies etc.

The media could not be loaded.  Great substrate I love it looks super nice plants take to it well and seeds grow every time placed under it...very easy to clean with the correct syphon will Deffo buy again
