The led strip is good and of excellent quality. The only issue?? Well, if I bought a 3m strip, I may not want to use the entire 3m strip in a striaght line or a circle. I may have a specific usecase. With that in mind, there are no wirong diagrams or even help material to follow to accurately cut it. After spending some time, I realized a few things. The leds are not in parallel so we can't just anywhere and call it a day. This was obvious because there is no ac/dc converter just a direct socket connection to 220v. That implies two things: one it is poor design and will not last long if used in ON state for very long periods. Because the intial LEDs will see a high voltage their inputs all the time. The resistors connected thus would heat more and eventually die. Two, it is really not a good idea to cut it anywhere. What should have been done is what is done by most strip designers. Most people will want to cut off and resolder to satisfy their own very specific needs. But in this case neither there is a diagram or help book to follow to be sure that if one cuts the strip whether it will still be usable or not. A simple ac/dc converter and all leds in parallel would have made my day. Now, I just keep my strip in a box.

Fine functionality wise. I knew while ordering that it doesn't have an adhesive layer but still wondering why. I have used similar led strips previously with adhesive layer. I can't use the clips provided in case of my glass table (unconventional for pc setup, gotta do with what's available and it's just fine). So I had to apply with cellotape. Also, the connection point between the wire and the strip has gone loose or something, it was needed to be fixed at a specific angle to remain connected.
