Bleed throughI love everything about this journal but if you are using this for art, I warn you that alcohol markers do bleed through the page. I’ve tested highlighter, pen, pencil, gel pen and fine liner and all of these were fine for me. If you are using highlighter in this book then I recommend you use Zebra Mildliners if you have them as they sit perfectly on the paper with little to no bleed through.AppearanceThe colour in the images attached to this review is slightly lighter in real life and is accurate to the picture listed and description. The tassels are also correct in colour but did come slightly creased.. The entire journal came intact however and so far it has not broken. Another thing to note is that the pages are not a bright white and more of a pale yellow and if that is not what you are looking for I suggest you don’t buy this one in particular. The last journal that I bought was of a similar material and the spine did crease slightly overtime. But if that doesn’t bother you then I would definitely recommend this journal.MaterialThe material of this book is very smooth and not very textured which I find very pleasing and the paper is decently thick. The journal is not too heavy, or too light and the whole thing feels very sturdy. The elastic strap is flexible and doesn’t feel like it will break overtime.ConclusionThis is an incredible book for journaling and note taking etc and would definitely recommend it. I’m very happy with my purchase and would say it’s definitely worth the money and will probably buy it again in future.

I was wary of purchasing this because as usual, there are unusual negative reviews. I’ve known this brand for years, but it’s also been years since I actually purchased from them. I was looking for a cheap new diary to use alongside my main planner, and this has unexpected great quality! The thickness of the pages are perfect, not too thin but not too thick, the ease of writing is amazing and the ink just glides across the page no matter what the pen. I’ll definitely be using this for the indefinite future.

I loved using this journal- plenty of pages which are nice quality and decently thick- not thin like many journals sold online. This is great for pencil and ballpoint pen drawings and anything done with POSCA pens if you intend to use it as a sketchbook! GREAT value for money, too.However, I had issues using any other kind of ink on here- even highlighters (first picture) bled through multiple pages! I knew the markers likely would (also pictured) but had hoped the highlighter wouldn’t as it didn’t on other journals I used in the past… Please note that if you choose to use highlighter or marker on these pages it *will* bleed and make sure you have scrap paper under the page to prevent ink bleeding through multiple pages. You can just paint on the reverse side of the page to cover it, though.Additionally, the bookmark came loose but I think this is more due to the frequency of how much I used and moved this journal about than a quality issue.Ultimately, despite these minor issues I genuinely loved using this journal and will definitely buy another! The pages are great for pencil sketching and any issues are easy to work around.

I use this book for college, I love how many pages there are and how lovely the front cover is. The pocket at the back of the book is amazing for all the pieces of paper I receive.

I bought this for taking notes at work, I didn’t want anything too fancy as this was just to jot down notes and not care if I was using my “had enough for the day” handwriting. However, I had people ask where this was from and I shared the link with them. Despite being a soft cover, this is really sturdy and really great value for the size. It also has two bookmarks which is really useful for such a large notebook. Additionally, you receive some tabs with the notebook too.

Doesn't feel like a cheap notebook. I like the texture of the cover, smooth and heavy duty. Paper is also of good quality.

this is great value for money, the paper is super smooth! after ive been using it as a sketchbook for a little while, the back is starting to become loose so im a little worried about it falling apart, also the texture of the black cover does kinda put me off using, or carrying it around with me- it feels a bit weird and also picks up fingerprints super easily. but overall i cant complain for the price! nothing bleeds through the pages super easily which is great!

Das Buch ist für eine Freundin als Tagebuch gedacht! Es hat ein handliches Format und lässt sich durch die vorgegebenen Linien gut zum aufschreiben nutzen!das Cover ist robust und in sunflower ein Gute Laune Macher und das Papier schön dick, sodass auch mal eine Zeichnung (sogar mit Wassermalfarben- da allerdings wird es bei Zuviel Wasser wellig) gemacht werden kann! Ein tolles hochwertiges Produkt für den täglichen Gebrauch !
