I love this Strainer. I use it every time I cook rice, which I do 3 times a week, minimum. I used to use a plain ol' bowl to do so and it worked but I lost a lot of rice doing it that way. With this strainer, I do not. It's easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. You should buy it if you're looking for a non-plastic strainer.

The media could not be loaded. Fantastic for rice. One bowl to wash and strain so it makes use and cleanup simple. Finer grains like quinoa do slip through the straining holes so more caution needs to be taken with those so they don’t rinse down the sink. Otherwise great for veggies and everything else I have tried it for.

This works so well!!Let’s just agree that you have to rinse your rice before cooking. This is the perfect tool for the job. It’s big enough to hold the rice and plenty of water. It has dimples on the bottom to agitate the rice and keep it moving. The drain holes drain the water and only the occasional piece of rice will get stuck. Rice can be drained easily without wasting any.Beans peas grapes lettuce anything you want really. It doesn’t replace a colander but I’m using this for most things

This strainer makes washing rice much easier. Its a great addition to my kitchen gadgets.

It is a perfect size for pint fruits so I am keeping it despite the fact that it came in poor packaging with no air bubbles or padding so it dented three spots.

It’s helpful when cleaning rice. Does as described.
